Nice shop with friendly staff. Bought maple syrup and candy. There was also a variety of souvenir items. Didn't sample the maple creamee, but there's always next time. Shop is located on small lake and you can sit in Adirondack chair and enjoy the scenery and your maple creamee.

As far as VT maple ice cream goes this is the best, all staff members have been really friendly and nice (one even has a cute dog that's super calm and sweet).

The Sugar House is a really cute shop that sells Vermont essentials- maple syrup, VT clothing, sweets, and more. The Maple Creamee, which is Maple soft serve ice cream, is reason enough to stop. It is amazing!!! On a nice day, you can sit outside by the lake and enjoy your ice cream with a view. I will admit that... More

Very nice people and fair prices. We spent a little over 100.00 and they gave us free maple syrup ice cream which was amazing!

Cheap, delicious maple ice cream, and a cute country store. We came several times during our visit to Ludlow. We will definitely come back.

I stopped by to sample some maple ice cream and see the maple sugaring process. It is incredible to see the process involved in making maple syrup The store has many little treats to,pick up. Maple was the flavor of the month.

Had read about it here, so I went to buy a few little gifts of maple syrup, maple candies (all delicious) and a cremee, which is a maple ice-cream softie.Great service, worth the 5 minute-drive out of town.

We found this place on Google and drove off to visit it. It is like an Aladdin's Cave as it is so much bigger inside than outside. It stands by the river and offers free parking. You have to go outside and down to the lower level under the shop to see how the maple syrup is made and there... More

Stopped by the Green Mountain Sugar House on our way out of town. Most of their gift items can be seen in other shops in the area. What sets them apart are the plethora of maple products and the knowledgeable, helpful staff. We enjoyed a few samples of the syrup, too. Didn't try the famed Maple Cremee, but there's always... We stopped at quite a few places while up in Vermont last weekend I think Green Mountain Sugar House had the most reasonable prices and fresh maple sugar candy. The staff was friendly and not pushy. I got just what I was looking for and had some delicious maple creme. Whoa, that stuff was very good! I would go back... More
