This was our first time camping and it was a great experience. The campground was very clean, polite staff, easy to get around! We spent the 4th of July weekend here and had a great time. The only addition I'd like to see is some kind of activities/music at night. Other then that, it was a great experience.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the campsite. There were trees separating the lots, which was fun for intimacy...We also enjoyed the fact that there are many washrooms located at different parts of the campground. This is great because you never have to walk too far for a washroom. Although there were not many activities for children, there was... More

The place is huge, beautiful and clean campground. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We rented a lean-to (fir) facing the lake which is very perfect, specially during sunset.

Only $3 per person for day use, we enjoyed fishing and hanging out on a cool September day. Planning on going back to camp next time. Clean facilities, friendly staff and empty on a week day in the fall. It is a big campground which I don't like but will try in the Fall next year.

The place is huge, with more than 116 places for camping-some leaned places (usefull in raining season-best place Butternut for tent-during an storm we rest dry!), For the access card you do not need cash you can put that cost on your credit card and they refound it after your stay. it is clean, the showers only one per washroom... My wife and I visited Grand Isle State Park at the end of August and we found the staff to be very friendly. The prices for ice and water were very reasonable. They make you pay a $20 deposit for a gate access card which you get back at the end of your stay so be sure to have some... More

Amazing views in all directions. Lake Champlain is incredibly clean and when in this park you have the best seat in the house. Adirondacks on 1 side with the Green Mtns on the other = perfect! Bring DEETS! :)

We camped here for a week and loved it. A lot of the sites are private, large and clean. The bathrooms are close enough no matter where you are. They were clean. We never had to wait for the shower, although I didn't like that you had to pay for them. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and helpful.... More

This is one of our favorite state parks. We are regular campers & come back here yearly because of the wonderful ambiance & good location (many local attractions). It is a state park, so it does not have the feel of a private campground (with state of the art bathrooms that don't have a single insect), but the facilities work,... More
