If you are a guest at the hotel (and frankly, they didn't check if you were or not), you are able to use kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, speed boat, swim, and take bicycles out for a spin around the lake, at no cost. A real plus ... made for a fun time

and again not disappointed. With each return we notice upgrades and changes - all positive and all enhance our visit. Yes, the lake side rooms offer a wonderful view. The rooms are not especially spacious, but well maintained, clean and comfortable. Never met an unfriendly staff member and, after our repeated visits, were recognized. How nice! Many activities are offered... More

The lake is really quite stunning with the surrounding mountains, but unless you own or rent a cabin with lake access, getting to the water can be quite difficult. There is one public boat access which is only that. no public swimming or beach like area. And don't think you cut hike in, private homes surround the entire lake. We... More

We got married this past December at Lake Morey. Melissa Seaver, our wedding coordinator was phenomenal. I can not say enough about her, she made sure everything ran smoothly and that we were happy and stress free on our big day! Our reception room was set up well in advance, so we had plenty of time to decorate and soak... More

The Inn is on Lake Morey which has some nice views, but the food was what you would expect from a hotel room service place. Not impressed.

The lake is so gorgeous. You never get tired of looking at the view. The recreation activities are endless. They plow a four mile loop on the frozen lake in the winter and you can skate, run, play hockey, walk, etc. They rent skates and other winter equipment. You can also go sledding at the adjacent golf course. We want... More

We had a great Travel Zoo certificate for Lake Morey Resort and it was a wonderful time. We traveled into Vermont and had a wonderful view of the fall foliage on the way. Explored all the little quaint towns on the way there. Once there we canoed the lake, played a round of golf and had a wonderful buffet prime... More

Vermont is a beautiful destination, and this lake embodies the state--small and quaint. There are usually few boats on the lake and all of the people one encounters are friendly.

The Connecticut River Valley region is blessed with some unique skating experiences, the first being the Lake Morey skating trail, the longest in the United States, a 4.5 mile loop around the lake maintained by the Lake Morey Resort, Upper Valley Trails Alliance and the Hulbert Outdoor Center. Directly in front of the resort they offer smaller rinks for skating... More
