For years we have been coming to Smugglers in VT and always saw the brochures for Eden Dogsledding (ED) but could never seem to make it work in our itinerary. This March however, we came to Smuggs for skiing and were able to make it to ED. It was fantastic! To begin with, the location is in a remote part... More

My girlfriend and I found this great dogsledding tour about 45 minutes north of Stowe. The drive was well worth it since snow conditions tend to be better. The cabin where we see the dogs was just awesome, bunch of alaskan huskies and mixed breed huskies sere ready to great us, all of the super friendly and lounging on sofas... More

This was our favorite part of our trip! One of the best experiences of my life. We were allowed to harness the dogs and get them ready for the ride, and once we were on it it was sooo much fun!! A thrilling adventure through the woods. This is a MUST DO if you are in vermont and love adventure!!... More

On my bucket list. Our friends have raved about this, as they have done it twice during the summer on wheels. We held out to experience it on the sled instead of the wheels and we were not disappointed! We did the "Omega" tour- basically the 30 minute ride. But, before hand you can pet and meet and spend a... More

The dog sledding was such an exciting experience! We met our guide, Chris, who gave us a clear summary of what we were going to do. The "Unchained gang" greeted us happily. All the dogs were great, each with their own little personalities and quirks. We helped Chris harness and set up the sled, before hitting the trails. (Alpha package)... More

My wife, her parents, and I went here in the middle of a huge Nor'easter this winter. My SUV can't handle snowy hills, and unfortunately Eden Dogsledding is located at the end of a hilly and remote backroad. Thankfully, Jim and one of the staff members were nice enough to pick us all up and drop us off at the... More

Me and my girlfriend came a long way to experience an "alpha" dog sledding tour at sunset. The weather conditions were bad - a snowstorm was in full power on the day we reserved for sledding. Instead of a romantic sunset voyage, we ran in a gloomy snowstorm at dusk. Despite of that, Jim (the owner) charged us full price,... More

My 8 year old and I went on our first father and daughter trip, and I can't imagine a better place to have spent it. Jim has a real love for his dogs that includes chemotherapy and orthopedic surgery when the need arises in any of his 35 dogs. As soon as we walked into his den, my daughter was... More

A Picturesque drive into the mountains north of Stowe transports you to a hidden world inhabited by the friendliest pack of husky crosses you are ever likely to meet! You are introduced to the dogs one by one& everyone of them is vying for attention from the moment you get on the property. Dogs are boisterous but never rough although... More

Getting to the Eden Dogsledding location is an adventure but once you get there, the experience was worth the trip. The owner, Jim had 33 dogs, mostly mixed breeds on his 75 acres which also included the Eden Mountain Lodge. The dogs were very, very friendly, very well trained and so much fun to experience their individual personalities as well... More
