One of my kids goes to UVM and loves it! I toured it with her and her sister's last year, when she was deciding where to go. The campus is beautiful and diverse. It's part of our hospital up here, now known as The University of Vermont Medical Center, that being said it has a good medical school. I think... More

As a UVM alum I can't say enough about the campus. It has changed immensely, and although still beautiful, I have to admit that I really miss the farm being part of the main campus. The beautiful buildings of Redstone on the main green are still amazing, and if you look carefully, there is even a ghost story!

Nice walks and views from various points on campus. Very crowded as i arrived on move in day for freshman. Check when travelling in late August for when school starts.

An oasis on the hill overlooking the lake and downtown Burlington. A place were 10,000 students live under blue light safely. Freshman are not allowed to bring cars on campus; all the students cam use the city bus system no charge. The university even allows 200 free laundry loads per semester. With this degree they won't come back and live... More

I have a son who is at UVM at it has given me a wonderful excuse to head up to the northern end of Vermont. I just went up to visit and though I was looking forward to it, I forgot how incredibly beautiful the experience could be. Not only is the campus a delight (a great state university -... More

This gorgeous sprawling campus is located just a few minutes drive from Lake Champlain and Burlington Center. Our son toured the campus when he was choosing a university to attend in the fall. He didn't pick UVM due to the distance from our home but we were truly impressed with what we saw and learned about the university. Also, the... More

This is a relatively small university which does offer a wide range of postgraduate programs including medicine. The central campus is quite idyllic befitting its New England heritage. I was amazed that the student area was serving beer, We visited the campus in June 14.

I was the first of 10 members of my family to attend UVM, twice: BS and MS. UVM is historically significant in that it was founded by the brother to Ethan Allen, our revolutionary hero. Besides the history, it offers diverse subjects and majors. I pretty much wrote my own program for my MS.

We strolled around the campus with a graduate as a guide. There were obviously tours available since we passed several of them that appeared to be led by students. The old library building which - in our guides day - actually had stacks with books a study cubby holes was incredibly interesting to tour. Someone needs to give it a... More
