This is surprisingly attractive for a place this small. However don't expect to see a great variety of sea lives since this is nowhere near the facilities at Monterey, Long Beach, or Sydney . We were there over a year ago. It is however a good place to spend a few hours if you have time on your hands.

Great learning place for 2-10 years old. My older ones got restless. We did enjoy the out side view and walking around the area. The hands on stations were good.

My 17 year old and I went to this center and were a little disappointed as we thought there would be more fish exhibits and activities geared toward adults, not the case. This is a great little discovery center, however is definitely geared toward younger kids. In my opinion, 11 or younger. Great water table and hands on activities for... More

The ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center is a short walk from Lake Champlain Ferries. This center has more to offer than you may think. There are two levels of stations to explore. Some stations feature animals in their natural habitat. Other stations feature plants and various stones. Definitely educational. There is also an amphibian tour where the guide feeds... More

The aquarium is a small one. It's great to fill up 2 hours when it rains and the kids (and the husband!!!) had enough of shopping!!! Not much to see, but a few interactive spots will make it fun for the little one, let say less than 12 MAX. (Aucune explication en francais et rien de traduit malheureusement...). Make sure... More

I was not blown away by Echo. It is small and has some neat things, but I thought it was lacking in the exibits and all. I suppose it is a must stop once if you go to the area. The money goes to a good cause too. We got to see the amphibians get fed at 3pm.. which was... More

Great place to spend time with kids. Older kids like to use the green screen to be newscasters and send the video to friends. The animals are interesting and some of the frogs are fun to try to find - very good natural camouflage. Exhibits change often and there are pop up activities like make your own name button (no... Lots of hand on activities and a ton of information about the history of Lake Champlain. We learned things we entered would have guessed existed. The museum is small, and you can see most of the exhibits in about 90 minutes.

This museum is a must-see if you are interested in the natural history of the Lake Champlain Basin. There are hands-on activities for children and interesting exhibits for all ages. The gift shop is full of great items. The museum is right on the Lake so you can take a walk in Waterfront Park before or after your visit. You... More

We were looking for something that our 3 kids, ages 3, 10, and 13 would all enjoy. I felt it was a little beyond my 3 year olds comprehension. She liked the exhibits but there was a lot of reading that left her bored. The lady selling the tickets was very pushy into trying to talk us into getting a... More
