This beach is very well kept with plenty of picnic tables, grills, grass and beach. There is natural shade available on the beach and the sand was finer than expected. We would wade out a good distance and still stand. The view is incredible with the mountains in the distance. You can see both New York State and Quebec from... More

We stopped on our way through along the bike path. Not prepared to go swimming but sat in the shade and relaxed for a while. A very nice park with lots of grass, a pavilion, restrooms, place to buy snacks. Lots of beach so can accommodate large groups.

Clean and lovely. Just sat and read my book and enjoyed the view. Unable to swim because of algae warning.

This park rest along the Bike Path. A great addition to Lake Champlain. A nice spot to rest for a few moments

if you want to spend the day soaking up the Rays, this is the place. Very clean, well maintained, a must do during the summer.

North Beach is the best public beach in Burlington, easily accessible via bus, car or bike path. (you have to pay to park your car) Gets very crowded on weekends during the summer. The beach is sandy and shallow water for along way, great for small kids, no sudden drop offs. However, the water quality can vary so sometimes the... More

Disclaimer: I have not camped here, but I have visited on a couple of separate occasions. This is a cute little park/beach for taking a dip on a warm Burlington day. I enjoy spending about a hour sitting on the sand and enjoying the scenic views of the mountains and lake. We opted to park back by the school and... More

Located right off the bike path and not far from downtown by car, North Beach is the go to spot on a hot day in Burlington. The downside is that everyone has the same thought process and it can get loud, but if you head down far in either direction you can find some lakeside peace. If you're looking to... More

Great place to have a picnic with wonderful views of the lake and access to the bike path. Situated in a quiet cove with a nice sandy beach.
