North Beach is a good beach... especially for a lake. That being said, the older you get, the more likely you would prefer different beaches in the same area. Watch out for algae!

Great for young kids. - great access to the Burlington bike path for running and biking. - Snack bar, restrooms, etc. are a bonus - paved paths allow a handicapped person in wheelchair get close to the water - Plenty... This is our most popular beach, with camping in tents and RVs just behind the beach. Swimming is excellent. Life Guards areon duty during the high season. There is a beach house with fine bathrooms, changing rooms, and all the hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream you might want. Picnic benches are plentiful, as are grills for cooking. They have... More

Bring a picnic, grab a table and fire up the grill as you watch the sunset over the lake and mountains. And by August the water is warm.

Sit and lay back here and feel safe. Swim and enjoy the mountain views. Clean and lovely swimming in Lake Champlain.

North Beach was fabulous, we parked on the street and walked in. It was gorgeous, there is camping , bathrooms, food, and plenty of room on the beach. Swimming was amazing! The water was warm and clean, and the views were spectacular!! This was the first stop on our trip and it really got us into "vacation" mode. You have... More

The vending machine in front of the bathroom is less expensive than the lakefront kiosk. This is a great swimming and boating lake.
