A stroll at sunset is so romantic and relaxing. Lovely breeze. You can sit on swings and enjoy the view of the sun setting on the water, see dragon boat rowers shadowed in the light, or sail boats lingering on their anchors--truly something from a painting but better.

Waterfront Park is definitely a highlight of the Burlington Harbor experience. The walkway is along Lake Champlain. There are several benches and even porch swings facing the lake! There is a place to buy ice cream (Creamies), and a large plush lawn with shade trees as well. This is a lovely area. A must see & experience.

Such a nice place to go and enjoy the breeze that sometime can not be felt in the city. Lots of shops and various types of food to enjoy.. from sit down resturants to food carts. Enjoy a sunny day by the water.

The hustle and bustle of the marine area is smaller than the ocean, but the size of Lake Champlain is always impressive. I love the bench-style swings you can rest in (if you can find one free of people!) and watch the lake activities and people walking by. Marina nearby would be interesting to check out. Next time!

The entire area along the lake in Burlington is fantastic. Actually my wife did her ice bucket challenge right in front of the lake

Love this park, there are big grown up swings to sit on and zone out and watch the sunset and the mountains, boats, water, seagulls. Love it here. Nice rail trail to walk, bike, or blade on.

We visited the Waterfront Park during the last week of August. It was the perfect time for a 1.5 hour cruise on Lake Champlain on the Spirit of Ethan Allen III. The tour guide's speech was canned, but Disney-esque, and very informative. The ride was well worth the cost, but finish off your water bottle before you board. None are... More
