Small park for a small city - but a pleasant place to stroll along the lake front within easy walking distance from town center (Church Street) and with ample room for a picnic on grass or available park bench. It's unfortunate the path north to North Beach is away from the water and looks like a wasteland. They've been working... More

We came to the waterfront on a chilly winter day and found it crowded (in a good way) with crazy people about to take a running jump into Lake Champlain :-) The Penguin Plunge we found out is an annual fundraiser for Special Olympics and it was fun to watch. The park itself is beautiful with a bike/walking path &... More

Whether you're walking through, lounging, playing, or going to a festival or a show, you will have a great time. You can catch a great sunset or even a pumpkin regatta depending on the time of year. I've spent a lot of time down here over the years.

A beautiful place for a walk or picnic . The sunsets over the lake can be stunning . You can walk your dog or go to the skate park or check out some science at Echo .

As with most things in Burlington, this park is not fancy. This is not a negative. It is a picturesque location with nice grassy areas, benches and walls to sit and/picnic on. Great running trails and easy water access for canoes, kayaks or sups. The only tough part can be parking on summer afternoons and weekends.

Living here all my life, I enjoy a peaceful moment with a friend just sitting on one of the swings they have by the rocky ledge and watch the ducks. The fairy boat is not that far, if your up for a ride. The sunsets are very beautiful in this area.. and many time in the summer, they have popular... More

Awesome sunsets, relaxing walk, quiet place. Not much to do at the park but relax, and that's all good with me! (You can rent bikes and segways) Lots of places to sit back and enjoy the view of the lake.
