The Waterfront Park was very well designed. It is easily accessed and there are lots of things to see and do. Bike path, large boardwalks which have plenty of benches and swings -- some in the sun and others in the shade, grassy areas for picnics, etc. Very attractive plantings. Access to restrooms. Free shuttle to/from Church Street. There is... More

This park has beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the mountains across the lake, but what's even better is the beautiful sunset right over the water and mountains. One of the most beautiful I have seen.

Went on the boat ride right on the waterfront. Lot of riders and walkers there. I would assume locals. There are a few other "vacation" places right there for food, drinks and entertainment. Oh so nice and clean. Buses available to go other local places. A "bus tour" is available there, but check out the pricing and time allotted. With... More

Well worth a stroll or bike ride to along bike path. Beautiful gardens and views of the Lake. Got to swing on a bench and watch sunset with my love.

Very clean place to walk and a wonderful view of Lake Champlain. There is a separate bike path so walkers and bikers don't collide.

Beautiful park with great views of the lake. They do have swing seats but are very popular so don't expect to actually sit in one! A couple of options for dining, very casual to a bit pricier. Bike racks while you tour the park since biking not allowed through the park.

We enjoyed our short stroll along the Lake Champlain waterfront; got a parking spot on the street right near the park too! It was extremely hot and humid when we were there, so we cut the walk short; I imagine it's just terrific on a more pleasant day.

It's a nice spot to wander or sit and enjoy a nice day. Or attend a beer festival which was going on the weekend we were there.

Worth a trip even if only for the bike paths! We did this trail through waterfront park and onto a peninsula, about 20 miles, breathtaking views. very flat, easy riding.

Beautiful extensive paths for walking and biking along the waterfront where one can enjoy one of many, many downtown restaurants or take a sightseeing cruise on Lake Champlain.
