We did not have much time in Burlington and so walking down to the Waterfront Park from our hotel gave us a nice view, water breezes and people watching without a lot of trouble. There are buses that go down there and take you back or you can walk. The path is dotted with benches to sit and enjoy the... More

A nice way to spend a few hours, nothing in itself spectacular but some great views, nice walks, just a very pleasant place to be.

People watching, boat and yacht gazing, rest & recuperation in the park, have a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, let the world pass you by. You can do all these things on Burlington's waterfront in a beautiful surrounding, on a nice sunny day, just a few streets and an uphill walk from the pedestrian downtown mall. Very, very pleasant... Great view, nice walking path, has bench seats to relax or grass and shade. The city bus comes every 15 minutes to take you to other parts of the area.

Walking path, bike path, Segway tours, restaurants and beverage stations, Echo marine center, ice cream stand, bike rentals, events every weekend...during summer, boat rides, scenic and evening cruises, ferry rides. Swings to sit and take in the view at your leisure. Lots to do, from free to pricey, couples to families, whatever your pleasure.

Fantastic park with a great boardwalk and suspended swinging benches - the must relaxing place on earth! It is great for people watching and dog watching - the dragon races were ongoing - much to see - don't miss the the water front park -

With a short boardwalk with swings for two along the way as well as benches- this is a very cozy and accessible area. This is a great place to take in a sunset, the small lighthouse is picturesque.

We found the waterfront to be a lovely place to relax after a long day of exploring Burlington. There is a creamee shop right by the aquarium, where we got amazing Maple soft ice cream cones, then walked down to the waterfront to sit on a swing and watch the evening settle over the lake. It was beautiful. We ended... More
