Dang it was cold!

Brrr!!! Dang I have to write at least 100 words. Ok, this place was very pretty with frozen lake. A few yards away is a great pancake house!

Absolutely enjoyed viewing the 4th of July fireworks on the waterfront. Live music, fried dough, creamers and great company! The boardwalk was full of life with amazing views of the lake and sunset. We found a great spot and relaxed until the fireworks! What an amazing view..

The waterfront is my favorite part of burlington. You can people watch on the boardwalk, throw the frisbee in the grass, hang up a hammock by the bike path, stare at the passing boats, the possibilities are endless. Little secret, I like to go out on the boat docks, it looks closed off but they are open until sunset, so... More

The aquarium and the Ethan Allen III dock is here. Parking lot here is a bit pricey and confusing to purchase, as the meter box is difficult to operate. I lost $2 in bills before I figured it out. At my visit, it was $5 for the first hour, $2/hour after, which you pay for in advance (credit cards accepted).... More

The waterfront is a great place to relax and see beautiful Lake Champlain. They have benches, grassy areas and walking trails.

A bike path runs through it, there are some great restaurants nearby, great place to spend a summer afternoon even if you don't have a bike. But, bikes can be rented near the park along the bike path. The park has also been used as a venue for various events over the years, including jazz festival, brew festival, food festival,... More

We loved just walking around and looking at the Adirondack mountains. There are so many little vendors selling food and you can rent bikes. You also have the option of going on a boat ride since the marina is right there.

We wanted to take an ice evening walk after dinner. This was the perfect spot and so convenient to downtown and restaurants.

You MUST watch a sunset here. Hopefully get there early enough to sit on a swing or enjoy the view sitting on the rocks by the water.
