We only stopped here once but we should have stopped more. We had lunch on the water and enjoyed it so much we drank beers until I don't know when. Lake monster never showed her head but I'm sure she would have if it hadn't become dark.

If for no other reason, you owe it to yourself to visit the boathouse dock on the shore of Lake Champlain in Burlington to experience a sunset. Looking over the clear waters of what some people refer to as the "6th" great lake, you will be gazing off in the distance at the peaks of the Adirondack Mountains in Western... More

There is almost always some thing going on here. You can rent water travel vehicles & explore the lake. The benches are placed so you can enjoy watching duck to seeing a sunset. I enjoy seeing the ferry crossing. Places to eat or enjoying a concert do check it out.

Originally were planning to stay two nights, but the town is so dead, decided to spend only one night and took off for Montreal. There is really not much to do here.

The off-season boathouse was already closed when we arrived, but we walked to the dock and deck, and it was just beautiful...great place for a party or wedding.

Truly one of my favorite spots in Burlington ! The Burlington Boat House is open to all. Even if you don't want to eat at Splash, you can go down on the dock and have or drink (or not) and just watch the amazing Burlington sunsets. The upstairs deck is also open to the public (there are tables and chairs)... More

Great location, right on lake champlain. Food was good, prices not too bad. The bar staff were rude to each other as well as the customers. I witnessed a lady ask a question about their wine to the bartender who proceeded to toss a wine list to here and ask if anyone else waiting knew what they wanted to drink.... More

The best place on the waterfront to see the sunset in the mountains. The band who played on Saturday night was just ok.

You can't beat sitting in the sunshine at the water's edge on a floating dock! There are public dock spaces for those who want to tie up and have lunch. When we were there in late May it was packed late afternoon. However, the food was pretty "average", and the prices were steep. Good selection of Vermont beers.

The Boathouse restaurant overlooks Lake Champlain. The food is fine, the drinks ample, the view looking west of the lake with the mountains in the distance, is extraordinary. You can dine in the restaurant for a sit-down dinner, or get your drinks outside with some appetizers, and find a plastic table or some chairs, and immerse yourself in a feeling... More
