We enjoyed a lovely relaxing lunch on Lake Champlain on the Spirit of Ethan Allen. Our cruise was not crowded as it was a cool, overcast day, but that did not dampen the spirits of the wait staff. We were served a spiced pumpkin bisque as a starter which was FABULOUS! Lunch was a buffet which was very tasty with... More

We took the morning cruise on a bright sunny day. The boat was not very crowded. There was a canned commentary, obviously pre-recorded. I would have preferred a live commentary. But he ship was clean. There was a waitress who offered us something to eat and drink. I had a bottle of water and ordered the shrimp cocktail. I was... More

Excellent cruise. It was a comedy involving the audience and it was very entertaining. Food and drinks were excellent. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and very attentive. Great for a date, business gathering, or family. You don't even feel like you are on a ship, it was very relaxing and cozy. The views were also breathtaking. I would definitely... More

I have actually sailed on the Spirit of Ethan Allen II many times. I have been to a wedding, several fundraising cruises, several dinner theater cruises, a graduation cruise, and special cruises like theme nights over the course of several years. The food is certainly acceptable, but I wouldn't say five star. The real reason I go is for the... More

We took the dinner cruise on Wednesday evening upon arriving in the Burlington, VT area. We found the cruise pleasant, the wait staff attentive and the food was good. There was a variety of items to choose from on the buffet for all flavor palettes and dietary needs. Our weather was wonderful and the sunset breathtaking. It rained off in... More

I enjoyed my relaxing cruise aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen II. Reservations were easy to make and the harbor was easy to find. The cruise takes about 90 minutes on Lake Champlain. Very good narration by the ship's captain. I learned plenty about Lake Champlain and the area. I wasn't bored at all. Plenty of comfortable seating both in... More

Wow what a wonderful tour of the Lake. Go for Lunch it is only 10 dollars more and the food was very good. The narration of the Lake History was wonderful. After Lunch sit on the upper deck and enjoy the weather and the view of a beautiful part of our country.

Our office staff recent did a lunch cruise and had reserved and paid in advance for our lunch. Once we got on the boat for lunch they handed us a bill for 15% mandatory gratuity. It was not disclosed when I booked the event, I even book in person and they made no mention of a mandatory tip. I'm all... More

Skip the lunch and enjoy a cruise. As others have said, the food is underwhelming. The boat is smooth and the narrative points out the best stuff. If it is a hot day, expect a giggle when you approach the rocks nearing the end of the ride. Our cruise was not an hour and a half. We were horrified that... More
