We went on the darkness falls tour on 9/13. it was cool and misty which added an eerie feeling to the tour. Thea did a fantastic job with her story telling about the spirits that lurk the downtown Burlington area bringing them to life. We visited about 7 sites and each had an interesting tale. The tour takes a little over... More

Overall this was a great experience but i will stop a little shy of the 5-bagger. Lady who did the stories was very sincere and the whole presentation was good. All in i thought it was fun but the tour could have been a little longer and maybe incorporated an indoor haunt or two which would have made it awesome.... More

We'd love to go inside a few locations, too, and many years ago, we did. Unfortunately, due to the broad mix of guests we attract, from the very young to the elderly, this is no longer possible. Wet shoes going from outdoor to indoor terrain invite a host of possible mishaps, and large groups during our holiday season are too... More

Thea was a great tour guide and a wonderful story teller. I recommend taking the tour if you're visiting Burlington. The walking tour was well planned out as the majority of it was downhill so the walk wasnt too bad. If ghosts aren't your "thing", I still recommend the tour. Not only ghost stories were told; she did add in... More

So glad you had a great time! While the walk does have some inclines and stairs, it is carefully crafted so that most folks find it an easy journey. Thanks for your review. Safe travels! ~ T More

My sister and I went on the Wicked Waterfront tour and it was fantastic. It was a perfect combination of local history, legends and ghost stories. We learnt about Champ ( the resident lake monster) and UFO's as well as the hauntings. Thea, our guide, was really lovely and told all of the stories in an interesting way. Her knowledge... More

I was so lucky to take two tours with Thea's Queen City Ghost Walk. The atmosphere was perfect and the tour guide an expert. We walked into otherwise unknown streets, secret corners, listening to fascinating tales of ghosts. A real treat for those who want to know more and enjoy a unique experience. Also try the Cemetery tour. We walked... More

Thea makes a dramatic entrance and tells wonderful stories, but I missed the interaction we've had on other tours. Thea walked ahead of the group not encouraging conversation or telling side antidotes we've enjoyed on other tours. On first look it seems I have an image of a women spirit in a window. My husband and I went back to... More

We are sorry you had mixed feelings about our walk, but, would like to address a few things you mentioned, so you might know what to expect if you are able to join us on a different offering should you visit Vermont's Queen City again. First, it's true I do walk up front, because it is the only way I... More

We where in Burlington to Celebrate our wedding anniversary and came across this tour as one of the top things to do. My Wife and I had a great time walking around the downtown area listening to tales of Ghosts and the history of burlington. Very fun tour and well worth checking out :)

We had a good time walking around Burlington with Thea. She had a flare for the dramatic in her initial approach to the group and kept it up in her telling of stories at various spots around town. Got a little bit of Burlington History as well and we enjoyed, during the rest of our stay in town, walking by... More

This was a really fun tour, you got a little bit of history about the town, some fun ghost stories and a nice walk. Be advised that the waterfront tour meets at the waterfront by the battery park fountain, some folks on our tour missed this info and had to catch up. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area.... More

Thea took us on The Waterfront Ghost Tour last weekend. The harbor area has always been a favorite place of mine when I am in Burlington but the tour added another dimension. I love Thea's information and ability to help you visualize the history of the area bringing in the supernatural aspect. We got in a great walk and saw... More
