We've been on two of the tours they offer, and they're a lot of fun. You get to hear about Burlington history with a fun spooky perspective. Not too much walking, just right. The couple are really nice and happy to chat after the tour. I'd highly recommend this. A fun adventure, great for all ages.

We took our tour boys on this tour. They loved it and we thought it was an interesting way to hear the city's history! The tour guide was wonderful too!

Gentle Guest, Your particular tour was full of positive vibrations, and what spirit wouldn't respond to that!? Your boys were inquisitive, respectful, and full of bright young energy. I could tell other guest thought so, too. We are glad you all enjoyed your walk on the spooky side, and wish you safe travels. ~ Thea More

In the bustling city of Burlington, VT, Thea takes us on a tour through the heart of the city to discover some of its deepest, haunted secrets. A knowledgable story teller, her stories sent chills down my spine when she revealed how very real and present and alive the ghosts of Burlington are. I am looking forward to more hair... More

Thea Lewis is very friendly! She narrated so many ghostly stories with such a charm that everyone was listening like little kids. She took us through a theater, few dark alleys, Timothy Follet's house etc around the College Street area and for every place she had multiple eerie stories. She recommended bars, restaurants and other things-to-do in the area as... More

Family members and I felt the gal who have the tour was an entertaining storyteller, but this she reached for stories (Ted Budhy, and others that may have an influence in the area), referenced her work outside of the area, gave a little plug for her book . We didn't go inside any buildings, we stood in a parking lot... More

Gentle Guest, We regret that you were discomfited to wind up in a parking lot at a haunted location. We have been on many a haunted walking tour, (different from a museum tour, in that you do not actually go inside the buildings) and have ended up in quite a number of parking lots, and in one instance, a brightly... My husband and I love this kind of stuff, but this tour was sort of lackluster. It started at 8:00pm, which in the summer means it's still light out. It only lasted an hour so it was just barely starting to get dark as we finished up. Sort of took away some of the spooky aspect. It was a walking... More

Gentle Guest, We must admit, we are more than confounded by your review, since your headline remarks we are both interesting AND boring at the same time. It is true, for the convenience and comfort of the majority of our guests, our summer tours begin at 8pm, and run for over an hour, since there is always an opportunity for... More

The tour was great! Got to learn a lot of cool facts about the city and its ghostly past. Only wish the tour (darkness falls) took you into some of the buildings...or the tunnels.

It's true, since we are a walking tour not a museum tour, we do not venture inside our haunted hot spots. You can visit some of the public locations by day, though, and it is an interesting perspective for those who do. It was delightful getting the chance to show you around our Queen City. Your group was quite receptive,... More

I only wish the tour was longer! Thea was great she answered questions and knew her history. She carried a microphone so everyone could hear her and about 1/2 way through the tour she stopped in an alcove for us to sit and rest while she continued the stories.

My husband surprised me with tickets for the Darkness Falls tour and neither of us had any idea for what we were in for.
