We sailed from the marina in Burlington with Gideon. Lovely day on the water. Gideon is a great host. Interesting and very low key guy. 6 guests max on the boat. Very comfortable. Gideon is wealth of knowledge about the lake and the area. This is a must do! Great way to see the lake.

Captain Gideon was a friendly and highly able sailor who took us on a memorable and highly enjoyable voyage on Lake Champlain. Highly recommended to all who visit Burlington. The intimate nature of the boat (maximum six passengers) makes Let's Go Sailing especially pleasant.

We were short on time, but wanted to do something outdoors and different other than walking on Church St. Don't get me wrong, I can, and have, walked on Church St and the surrounding areas many times but we wanted a new experience. We were only in Burlington for a day, and the captain accommodated our schedule. We bought a... More

Captain Gideon was amazing - after we booked a sailing tour and our weather turned awful, Captain Gideon was flexible and able to accommodate around our schedule. He was so accommodating from the minute we stepped on the boat, and offered us the opportunity to drive the boat, turn the engine on/off, drink some wine, etc. The intimacy of our... More

It's a no-brainer - if you are visiting Burlington, unless the weather / time of the year forbids it, you will want to go sailing on Lake Champlain. Of all the options available, Let's Go Sailing is probably the most expensive, but it is for a very good reason - you are not the sharing the boat with anyone except... More

It was nice to go on the water for our first time at this lake. The owner took us around and was very nice to talk to. He explained the area, the history and a bit about himself. For our young kids, he kept them busy by giving them little toy boats that they could drag along the water as... More

Let's go sailing offers a very comfortable sail on beautiful Lake Champlain. The owner, Gideon, was very personable. The sailboat can have six passengers. We only had 4 people in our party, but there was plenty of room for six. Loved the fact that you could sit at the front of the boat, the back or the sides. It provided... More

The whole experience was amazing! We began learning immediately he gave us full control of the boat (except for when we put ourselves in danger)! The strength of the wind will make a difference but he will make it fun anyway! We would totally do it again in an instant!

We are so thankful to Gideon for showing our family an Amazing time on Lake Champlain! It was absolutely magical! I called last minute and was lucky that there was an opening...Gideon's laid back style fit our family perfectly...We all got to drive the boat and felt as if it were an experience truly of our own. My girls now... More

We had book a sunset sail with the other sailing company and cancelled it when we realized that we had booked for the wrong weekend. We were able to get on with Let's Go Sailing Vermont and we are so glad we did. We had a wonderful time cruising Lake Champlain waiting for the sun to go down. We thoroughly... More
