Homegrown Crafts

Frog Hollow sells local art, jewelry and crafts made by Vermonters. The prices range from 5 to 10$ up to a few hundred. I like knowing that I am supporting local business people.

I love that there is a place where you can go and see work from all different artists in Vermont. It was almost like a mini museum and I was inspired to start painting again from some some of the art I saw.

Every time we go to Burlington, we stop by here and pick up a new piece. Wonderful artisan work from many artists. Everything from art pieces to homemade home decor and kitchenware.

I had hard time restraining myself in this shop. There was so much, I could buy. I restrained myself and purchased a beautiful stained glass of a vermont maple sugar tree, pottery and jewelry. Love that it supports local artisans!

This craft center features the work of local artists and artisans. You wont like everything here, and some of the pieces are overpriced in my opinion - but the majority are just wonderful. This is my go-to place for unusual presents - for Birthdays, Christmas or weddings. They also have cute jewelry which I buy for myself!

The minute I hit Burlington, I make a beeline for this shop (and the Lake Champlain Chocolates in the same block). I have nearly a dozen pieces of art and jewelry I have purchased over the years, and every one still brings a smile to my face. If you love VT, you will love the memories the fine Frog Hollow... Frog Hollow was established as the State Craft Center in 1975 and has been exhibiting and selling the best of Vermont arts since then. A huge range of work in many mediums, Wood, fiber, glass, jewelry, fine art, basketry, metals. An amazing display. Something for everyone.

Fun variety of items, but don't plan on purchasing too many. If you can get by the high price tags, just enjoy checking out this diverse selection of arts and crafts.
