A feast for the eyes.

An extraordinary shop that is beyond all expectations. It is a place just to experience and abide with beauty.

It was everything Cindy W said and more. The proprietress was genuinely interested in assisting me find the perfect fabric for my granddaughter's christening gown. It's a little disappointing that I had to travel to Brattleboro to find the quality needed for an heirloom item, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. These are the fabrics that don't get hidden... Little storefront is packed with silk, linen, wool. There is a particularly extensive selection in white, trims, lace and buttons. The owner chases down designer textiles from NY. Though this is not a quilt shop, there were some exquisite cottons as well. This is a perfect place for anyone in the market for bridal, baptismal, costume, dolls--or anyone looking for... More

....and the conductor, a charming proprietress with an exquisite eye for beauty! It was the tactile, textile lover's dream come true!!! An oasis overflowing with velvets & silks & laces, OH MY! I cannot believe I lived this long having not found it! I MUST return!

Everything pretty that ever happened lives here. Rich textures and colors surround the browser. Buttons you thought you never needed end up on your hand. Scarves fit for a princess adorn the walls and counters. The proprietor is a slightly eccentric dyed-in- the-wool Vermonter. Good liberal and Bernie supporter. Drop in; yoi'll be glad you did!

It was such a treat chancing on this great shop. Chock-a-block full of unusual buttons, and a beautiful collection of fabrics, it was hard to resist buying up big. Unfortunately I had to restrain myself because of luggage restrictions, but I did add to my stash of buttons. The owner was helpful, and quite rightly, very proud of her shop.... More

I cannot drive near Brattleboro without stopping here. All natural fabrics, lots of silk, wool in the winter. Jewelry which is unique, some kind of retro, all pretty. Small crowded shop. Owner operated by a quiet woman who LOVES fabric. Scarves, vintage hats, amazing buttons. When I drug my husband in he ran back to the car to make his... More

Happened upon this incredible store walking thru Brattleboro Saturday (3/28/15)and cannot believe the fabulous collection of gorgeous brocades, silks, laces, beautiful artistic buttons, jewelry, amazing scarves - I could go on and on and on! Seek this shop out, but do yourself a favor, leave the purse puppies and little ruffians at home - this is a treat to the... More

This is a wonderful shop, full of mostly silks, but all natural fibers, plus a huge selection of buttons and some silk scarves to die for. I had a beautiful silk scarf from here that lasted me almost 10 years of daily wear, and I just went back for another one. Their silk selections are absolutely gorgeous and inspired me... More
