Always try to get here when I'm in Vermont. It's a warm and eclectic venue, hosted with a very personal touch. You feel like you're spending an evening amongst friends and the artists obviously feel the same, which makes for a wonderful ambiance and the best of interactive performances. The relaxed, understated but contentious attention of the hosts make you... More

If you ever visit Brandon, Vermont or are within 50 miles of this beautiful Vermont town, you must visit Brandon Music! It is owned by Stephen and Edna Sutton. They also own Compass Music and Arts Center in Brandon. Compass should also a "must" on your list to visit!

My husband and I stumbled across a brochure about this place at the Vermont Welcome Center the night before and decided to give it a try. The outside is deceiving. On a gray dreary day, we ventured in and the upstairs level is full of windows, light and warmth. Edna was wonderful and we really enjoyed our visit. We opted... More

A wonderful place to visit and listen to amazing music while you are enjoying either a super lunch or a variety of tea and deserts in the tea room. Edna has added a variety of English items on her varied excellent lunch menu.

Brandon Music -- a tea room, a jazz club, a museum and a gift shop, is not so terribly out of the way that you shouldn't make the effort to visit. The room's acoustics are exceptional for live jazz -- the setting is unique and extremely comfortable. Their food menu impressive -- and the quality the is absolutely first-rate (as... More

It's a tea room and performance space owned by some Brits who run a music importing business. They offer both classical performances and Sunday afternoon jazz concerts.

As others have mentioned, this is a little "find". Off the main streets of Brandon, this tea room/gallery/music emporium can be found off route 73 en route to lake Dunmore. The sweets are incredible. The room for tea is relaxing and airy. The same room is used for intimate musical events ranging from jazz to classical with lots of different... More

My wife Karen and I was staying in the Lake George area and decided to take a day trip over to Vermont. We had taken interest in Brandon Vermont given that this is our son's name. We found travel information about Brandon Music. Our son is an accomplished musician and is studying to become a professional conductor. Naturally we had... More
