Otter Valley Winery is a family owned and operated 6 acre vineyard and a winery. Our wines are made right here on site and you can always check out our grape vines and take a tour of the winery (or at least peak through the large window to see the operation). Tasting room, rental cottages, restaurant and gift shop on site. Please stop by to taste our Boston Bull, Pink Moose, Chardonnay, Sangria, Happy Ending Rose, Arctic Goose and Chocolate Mousse. Make sure to take a picture of the LARGEST wine cask in the state of Vermont right here at Otter Valley Winery!

We stayed in one of the cottages and truly enjoyed this winery and vineyards. They currently offer 7 wines, all different, all good . Our favorite was the Mountain Mango Madness (loved the label too!). They have a nice deck out back overlooking the cottages and small vineyards. If you’re looking for something unique and delicious, you should check them... More

Enjoyed chatting w/owner & found some samples worth purchasing. Informal yet "homey", array was substantial for area, not really considered "wine country".

Learn about wine and beer in a gorgeous setting. There are tastes of everything sold. Some really nice reds to be had.

We stayed at the cottages and took advantage of the free wine tasting for the guests. All the wines were really good, reds and whites, some dry and some sweet. Seems like a little bit for everybody. Steve, the owner and wine maker was very knowledgeable about wine. There were a lot of people doing wine tasting there and everybody... More

Not for wine connoisseurs but if you're in the mood for a nice family run wine tasting and looking for different style wines, then put this place on you list. Wines were tasty and price is ok. Bought the Happy Ending Rose and enjoyed while watching fireworks.

The wines we tasted were good. The conversation was great. And the folks we were following on the tour of wineries made it even more special as they provided commentary as we arrived at each stop. A fun way to spend the afternoon.

We stayed at the Cozy Cottages(8/30/13 2 nights) ,the Winery is right on the premisis. Wine tasting is FREE if you stay at the cottages! It costs $18.08 per bottle if you want to purchase one.All the wines were very good! My favorite was the happy ending. Owners Stephen & Ursula have a fun enjoyable winery !

We were staying at Cozy Cottages and were offered free wine tasting as their guests. We were very happy we did the tasting. All the wines were really good. My wife and I stayed in one of the cabins while in Vermont and it was a perfect location to enjoy the local spirits and not have to worry about driving. Both of the owners were very friendly and ensured that we had a pleasant experience with the wine and our stay.

I can't believe they are allowed to call themselves a winery! This is a joke right. The worst tasting product our party ever had. At the fact the owner was in the kitchen swatting flies all through out our stay makes me question their cleanliness

It is sad that I even need to respond to this review. This review was posted by a person that was staying in one of our cottages during Labor Day Weekend, but HAVE NEVER EVEN BEEN TO OUR WINERY NOR THE TASTING ROOM. The motorcycle group that this person is part of portrayed themselves as a family oriented, charitable and... More
