I've owned Bennington pottery for a number of years and have always wanted to go to the factory. It was a little disappointing. The self guided tour was not very robust and there really weren't any deals to be had at the outlet. I still love the pottery, but I can buy it closer to home.

A visit to Bennington Potters has been a tradition in our family for 3 generations now. It is wonderful to see this group thrive. The pottery is second to none. Its great to see some of the new finishes - we bought a few examples - and to see some of the things that have been in my grandmother's and... More

Not sure why they have to try to "upwell" with a bunch of crap. I think most folks go there for the Bennington pottery and can get the ticky tacky stuff at Target and Home Goods. What a disappointment that they feel the need to crap up the place with so much junk that's not even made by them.

We have the original Blue Agate. There is always something new when you visit the potters. This trip I picked up the farmhouse presentation bowl, a batter bowl, and a new coffee/soup mug. Lovely folks to help you always. Love it.

This company makes practical, decorative and useful pottery. There is great variety of products available in a fun atmosphere. Most of the products are of good quality and affordable. Don't miss the self guided tour of the workshop for a good understanding of pottery production.

The pottery shop is located in a tall old mill just north of downtown. You can self-tour the production area and learn how they make their famous pottery. They include some very colorful spotted pieces in both green and blue that caught my eye. And at the Welcome center you can get certificates for gifts there. We bought two trays for... More

I have been going to Bennington Pottery since the mid 60s when I was about 10. my parents loved the trigger mugs and would seek out the seconds. What is cool about the original building is the grain shafts and other interior things because it was some sort of grain elevator or processing building. My wife and I have been... More

Beautiful pottery items and not too expensive either, we bought a few mugs and decorative pieces. They also have a factory tour, although small but worth a visit to see how the pots and pans are being made and then glazed.
