Beautiful pottery

We go to Bennington Potters every time we are in Vermont. We have been adding pieces to our dinnerware set. We have been able to find some nice pieces that were seconds!

My wife and two daughters appreciate quality homewares so I went to Bennington Pottery in early December. I found just the right objects to enhance their kitchen tables with each color scheme in mind. One daughter liked the tourquoise pattern that I bought as a teapot and a bowl so much that she is listing it on her wedding gift... More

The staff couldn't be more welcoming. I enjoyed the self-guided factory tour, and found the store completely engaging, with rooms full of lovely pottery, linens, and home decor, a very impressive variety. Staff members are generous with their time, answering questions, making suggestions, and pointing out markdowns, but they're never intrusive, so I felt very comfortable taking my time.

We took the self guided tour of the factory and had great interactions with two of the staff members. In the store, everyone was super nice, spent tons of time with us, even helped entertain our child (thank goodness you have 2 cats in the shop - the distraction allowed us much more time to shop).

So much to see you must plan to spend over an hour here! Who knew there was so much to pottery, and linens, and decorations, and things for ones home?

Been here several times over the years and have a number of serving pieces. On a recent trip I thought I'd purchase some tea cups. Each I picked up was rough around the rim as were many of the mugs. Surprisingly I purchased nothing on that trip. It seemed to me that the quality control has slipped, something unacceptable for... More

Bennington Potters provides a short self-guided tours in the pottery. The display room is in front of this, and contains all of the lines they create. They also carry all kinds of very good "seconds" at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the stop.

the workshop is behind the store and you can see folks making pottery. The store in front has lots of different dishes, bowls, coffee mugs, etc. A Very interesting place to visit.

This is a fun home goods store in addition to a local innovative stoneware manufacturer. We did not get to see the factory when we were there.

Beautiful pottery and linens as well. Was unfamiliar with this pottery before visit. What a wonderful find. The pottery is so attractive and useful. Makes me want to need new dishes, which I really don't! Great gifts.
