You might want to allow about an hour to explore this store. There are so many styles of pottery here that you may need some time to decide what to explore. We found some great deals in the marked down area too. Lots of beautiful things here, and we loved the fact that they are hand made.

One of a kind pottery and gift shop! This would be a great place to find someone the perfect Vermont gift! Items range in price, but the craftsmanship is brilliant!

Somehow we expected the pottery to be a large corporate operation. The self-guided tour explains that the exact opposite is true. Still a small, closely knit group of artisans create everything the old-fashioned way...by hand, mostly. Not Made In China.....made in Bennington. As a certified shopping pack horse I thought I'd be bored to tears (Hemmings here I come) but... More

What a fun shopping experience - you can read the history of pottery making in the Southern Vermont area, see the process in a self-guided tour and shop in the wonderful store. As you would expect, the pottery is expensive but enough of a price range to be able to find something as a reminder of your visit.

A great place to visit and learn how the pottery is made. The store to buy the pottery is fun to look around. I was visiting from out of town so when I return home I will be ordering on line some new kitchenware.

Who would expect such an extensive shop in such a small town? When I was told to check out the pottery, I envisioned a small place with a few selection of rustic pots. I was wrong. They have a wide range of pottery for all occasions but also linens, utensils, decorations, glassware..... We spent a couple hours there mixing and... More

This is my favorite local place to shop for gifts, especially wedding and housewarming. The pottery is the best & there are a lot of other great household options.

The store is just great and the pottery is wonderful - though there's much more in the store than just pottery! The children will love the life sized statues of the cow and moose that have their bodies outside the shop and their heads inside! One hint that shoppers should always know: there's a "seconds" corner where you can find... More

I enjoyed watching the pottery being made. I also liked the excellent variety of decorative items, furniture, pottery, candles, etc. in the store.
