Love to visit this place when we travel to the Berkshires. The items are mass produced and they do have glassware from Turkey but there are some nice things to purchase. Check out their two cats - Satin and Slate - quite the attractive brother and sister. The town of Bennington is also nice to visit and have lunch. Easy... More

What a wonderful display of pottery and home accessories! If you like hand made pottery you won't be disappointed. So many styles to choose from and all made on site. A rare find these days! Behind the store you can watch the process! Don't miss this gem!

We were expecting artisan pottery. This is Henry Ford making dishes in molds. Fine if that's what you want. At least they blend their own clay.

Pottery with basic glazes in basic shapes. You won't find anything especially interesting, but simple, beautiful housewares.

Interesting if your looking for a large quantity of pottery, made by machines. We thought the pottery would be wheel thrown by artists. The pottery there is put into molds and the edges are fixed by the "potters". Again if your looking for houseware and decorations it's good, just not so great if your looking for handmade work.

Bennington Potters has a very wide variety of household items. My husband and I went in on a "date night" and really enjoyed the many beautiful things and the wonderful scents.

First stop should be the walk thru tour of the pottery process but you must stop and talk to one of the craftsmen and let them tell you first hand what this place is all about! Very educational and interesting! Once you know how Bennington pottery is made, go into the beautiful store and BUY,BUY,BUY!!!

They had very pretty pottery. I bought a style that if felt was unique to Bennington Potters and I love having it on display in my kitchen. The staff was pleasant. They also had a little additional store that sold other items besides pottery. I felt the pottery was reasonably priced.
