Park-McCullough House doesn't officially open for the season till the end of May but a group of friends was visiting the area and after calling the sight number, a lovely volunteer got back to me and we were able to arrange our own tour. Mary was gracious and inviting and up on her history! This estate is in excellent condition... More

Had only one afternoon to spend in N.Bennington and wow so glad we took a short stroll from our B & B (Eddington House) to see. The house (mansion) ...the grounds...the gardens...the horses... the walking trails..I would never think all that was right there! Beautiful....hope to go back and do a tour inside...peeked in the window ....WOW!

An architectural gem built in 1865. Open only on weekends, but if you are in the area check it out , it is worth it!

A beautiful gem. The architecture is absolutely stunning. The charm of the estate is so apparent. It is well appointed with time period pieces of furniture and other amenities. It really takes you back to the 1860's.

So disappointed I did not get to tour this house. It is closed and there is no indication of when it will reopen.

This is truly one of Southern VT's little treasures, the house still hold the old settings, the grounds are beautiful and the carriage house is amazing, defiantly worth stopping at.

You have to be in town on Friday to take a tour, but even on other days it is a beautiful estate worth stopping in to see the grounds. There is also a walking trail just beyond the estate.
