When you visit you get a feel for what it would be like to live in a wealthy, country home in the past. The grounds are pretty and there is a walking path through the woods and fields, open dusk to dawn. Lots of people walk their dogs or jog here. They also host wedding. Make sure you walk to... More

The Park McCullough House is a beautiful Victorian mansion with all the original furnishings, etc. The most impressive Victorian home I've ever seen. The grounds and barn are equally impressive and there is a nice trail called Mile Around Woods not far from the house which is worth taking a stroll around.

The PMCCH is like stepping back into the turn of the century. Just a quite fun place to visit, and we have several times over the years. Concerts, croquet and special events. THe staff is knowledgeable and courteousness. A must visit.

Let me start by saying back in High School I used to work as a grounds keeper at this place. The place is old and amazingly all of the original items are still in the house. You'll get to see rooms setup exactly as they were left, even down to objects in the medicine cabinets. There are some hidden passage... More

Last Sunday we stopped here. The parking lot had several cars in it. A woman came out of the mansion and told us it was closed because we didn't have a reservation. The AAA book read that it was open to the public and even gave the hours which we were within. We said we were from another state. She... More

Unfortunately, the house is closed for 2012 except for special events, but the grounds are still beautiful and the adjacent Mile-Around-Woods walk offers a scenic stroll though farmland and woods. I've toured the house in the past and its interesting to see how the Park and McCullogh families lived a century ago. Beautiful carriage house too.

Our family attended a wedding here and what a great old Victorian House. The grounds were well manicured and had great spots for pictures. I believe they call it the Carriage barn were the reception was held. The company that catered the event said that you can tour the old house. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to but hope... The cost is $10 but for that you get a guided and informative 1 hour tour of a grand house with a most interesting and fascinating history. The house which has always remained in the same family houses many interesting items of furniture, ornaments, paintings, clothing and domestic life from the mid 19th century to the present day. The rooms... More
