Wonderful trip! Spectacular scenery on the last wild river in Colorado River basin. Great group, led by Brett, very knowlegeable on the geology, anthropology, botany, river lore and history of the area. Rapids were great and we had plenty of opportunities to try out the oar boats, paddle boats, kayaks and SUPs. And they are great cooks to boot! The... More

Went out for a day trip with family and friends. We were all pretty inexperienced but really excited...maybe a little nervous. All the guys were very nice and knowledgeable. Our guides name was Lee, he was awesome! Really great with the kids and really funny. He made the trip for us and would highly recommend him....even if he does look... More

What a great day trip! As the other reviews mention, the Don Hatch/OARs group is a great outfit. From the very beginning booking online was simple, completing the waivers and even the confirmations and follow-ups were prompt and professional. We booked the 1-day Split Mountain trip for our family of four (2 boys ages 7 and 10) and they had... More

The one day trip on the Green river fit my travel plans and is excellent for those not ready for a multi-day commitment. The guide Scottie was very knowledgeable and the staff very helpful and entertaining. The rapids were fun and the views spectacular. This is an excellent trip for a family or group looking for a day of fun... More

We had the privilege of doing a one day trip with Hatch. Wow. There is a reason this company has been around for so long and is so well known. The guides were incredibly friendly and knowledgable, and the scenery and rapids are one of a kind and such splashy fun. The lunch was delicious and quick, and we had... More

Spent five days on a Yampa OARS/Hatch rafting trip with my husband, son (22) and daughter (19) in early June in Dinosaur - the first such trip for our family. We all came home back east missing the river, the canyons and all agreeing it was the best family vacation we have ever taken. Great guides, amazing river, spectacular scenery,... More

We had a great 3-day trip through Flaming Gorge. After 1 night R&R in Vernal, we were back on the river for a 4-day trip through the Gates of Lodore, Whirlpool Canyon and Split Mountain. The team at Don Hatch were great! Professional with an emphasis on safety, but fun and good with the kids. Very knowledgable about the local... More

I recently took a group of wounded warriors down the Green River with OARS/Don Hatch on a multi-day Gates of Lodore trip. The professionalism of the staff on and off the river cannot be understated. They became part of our group, and that is a rare occurrence when it comes to veterans. The time spent on the river was with... More

Guides were good. We especially like the Geology lessons from our paddle boat captain Scott (Yeti). Meals were tasty. Plenty of food for everyone. Loved that we got to use the SUP in calm water areas. It made for a nice change of pace. We had a great group of people. 25 clients and 6 guides. Joelle was our head... More

Our adventure was on the Green River- Split rock mountain, our guide (Josh) made our first rafting trip into an awesome rafting adventure keeping us all feeling safe and having fun from young kids to adults. Driving away we were already talking about our next trip out to multi day vacation plans.
