My family and I visited Dinosaur National Monument recently are were blown away by the "Wall of Bones." The Visitor's Center has ample parking and a complimentary tram that runs from the Visitor's Center to the Quarry about every 15 minutes. We had no problems catching a tram (no lines to speak of) that weaves slowly upward to the Quarry... More

Okay, so I just gave my age away. But I cam with my parents when I was young. The Quarry Wall is impressive enough that I remember it. See the Quarry. You will never forget it. My husband was blown away.

I didn't really know what to expect - we went to the Visitor Centre and looked at the exhibits, and then took the short shuttle bus ride up the canyon to see the fossils. Into the top storey of a modern building, and wow! Could not believe I was looking at this huge wall full of amazing, and complete, dinosaur... More

If you're into Dinosaur's and geology, this is a must see. View a mountain side of dino bones that are still partially un-excavated. The entire monument is loaded with interesting geology and also many ancient petra-gliffs. While your there, take the 13 mile drive back into the canyon to see the early 1900's homestead.

We didn't spend too much time here. The petroglyphs are worth the short walk. Some of the other walks are not well marked & could use better signage.

Happened to see this national park on the map and thought it sounded different and it is! Really interesting to actually see dinosaur bones and fossils embedded in rock. Rangers are knowledgable and friendly. Additional auto tours throughout the park are also interesting. A great place to visit!

We were on a road trip from Chicago to Arches NP and took a detour here. Did it mostly for the 8 yr old. In all fairness, covered only the Utah- Dinosaur Quarry side of the park. He was happy and liked it, but was not "Maha Thrilled". The rest of us found it pretty interesting! Did not find any... More

At this point in the trip, this was our 7th national park. Kids liked the dinosaur bone wall. And the ability to ask rangers questions. But we have the Field Museum near us so many fossils were ones they had seen before just not in this natural habitat. We were happy we had water and a snack as we were... More

Super place to bring those dinosaur obsessed kids, big and small. Summer months are almost unbearably hot. So, come prepared.
