Today, the mountains, desert and untamed rivers flowing in deep canyons, support an array of life. Petroglyphs hint at earlier cultures. Later, homesteaders and outlaws found refuge here. Stunning display of real dinosaur bones imbedded in the mountain wall. Great interpretive explanations. Not a big place but a real jaw dropper. If you are anywhere close, spend an hour here. Never seen anything like it.

This was absolutely amazing !! The digs with the thousands of bones and displays was truly mind boggling. We must have taken a hundred photos just inside the building. It was so cool to see the bones still in the rocks and even get to touch them. This was our favorite of the parks we visiting during our vacation.

The National Monument has 2 Visitor Centers; the one near Dinosaur, Colorado is open seasonally and has NO dinosaur fossils. If you want to see one of the richest fossil beds open to the public in North America, visit the Quarry Visitor Center accessible from Vernal or Jensen, Utah. The Quarry is generally open year round; fossils were deposited in... More

This park has been superbly constructed. It is one of the richest dinosaur fossil finds. The quarry is amazing in that you see an actual 2 story high wall of fossils still embedded in the rock face and can feel the bones. There are excellent guided walks as well.

The wall was great now and 15 years ago before the remodel. Very good overall, but must see the whole park to enjoy.

This wasn't on our original destination but since we were passing right by it we stopped in for a couple of hours to see what they had to offer. The $10 dollar per car fee was very good value. The museum itself was fun to see all of the dinosaurs left in the rock. The interactive screens were fun for... More

My wife is a Dino nut so she loved the new building the park service has put over the dino exhibit. The exhibit itself is a 30 foot high rock/mud wall full of dinosaur bones that have been left in place for your viewing pleasure. Now housed in a new modern building it is well worth the trip if you... More

Excellent display of the quarry wall. The shuttle service works well. Astronomical activities at the visitor center were good.
