35 miles from St. George, in Pine Valley, the original chapel has been well preserved by the LDS church. Some of the wood for organ pipes at the Salt Lake Tabernacle were taken from this area. Beautiful, clean, and well preserved. More

This is one of my favorite places to go. In the fall they have a dutch oven fund raiser here and I never miss it. The atmosphere is the best with the beautiful Pine Valley Mountains as the backdrop. It is a great place to visit. More

My ancestors worked on this chapel, hadn't been in 20 years, restored in 2005, church did a great job in preserving the building and it's unique features. Stayed for Sacrament meeting and was made to feel very welcome even though I didn't have a white shirt and tie on! More

This chapel sits in the most beautiful valley i've ever seen. And the history behind its construction is worth learning about. They take you all through the chapel, including up the stairs and into the rafters! The grounds are gorgeous, the missionaries that give you the tour are super nice. I highly recommend it. More
