I, a member of the LDS church, visited the temple last year a few years back. The clarity of mind and spirit of that building is unforgettable.

The glowing white plaster on the temple building catches your eye as you approach this little desert town on I-15. The efficient air conditioning greeted us at the visitors' center when our minivan temp was showing 110 degrees on the early July afternoon. There were really nice paintings with moving stories about pioneers crossing the plains to the west. In... More

We went here just to take pictures of the outside when we noticed a visitor's center. We went inside and they have a little museum for you to walk through to find out more about the church. The people were also very friendly.

This big beautiful white building is stunning in all the surrounding red rock. It has nice green grounds and makes a good walk. The assigned missionaries are nice and not too pushy but will provide you information if you want it. I found the history incredible - can't believe they built this in the middle of nowhere so long ago,... More

This is a historic LDS temple since Brigham Young lived in St. George part of the year. You can go on the grounds but not inside unless you are LDS. Walk through the surrounding neighborhood, see Brigham's home AND go see Zion only 45 minutes away.
