Mormon polygamist involved with the Mountain Meadows Massacre that took place nearby. I suppose if you are an LDS adherent it would be of interest but his practice of polygamy and participant in murder of innocent women, children and men pioneers passing through taints his reputation.

I've been here several times, and each time I learn something new. On a guided tour, you will be led through the house and told why Jacob Hamblin moved there, and how he contended with the hostile Indians of the area.
