This golf course is one of the most picturesque in southern Utah.. especially the back 9... challenging course with views to die for.. the club house has great food as well.
Several years ago, this was a world class golf experience. It has a phenomenal layout, especially the back nine. Unfortunately, they have really let the course go to pot. The fairways are aweful. I wish Troon would buy this place, put some money into it, and return it to its former glory. Until then, expect this course to feel a... More
Played Valderra today at the high rate fee and found the course unfair, mixed bag of conditions. The greens were very bumpy and slow. Difficult to get a wege shot to stick on the postage sized greens also. Not a good value and plan not to return.
Beautiful course in excellent condition. Easily able to follow. Carts with a GPS built in with all sorts of extra tips and guides. Golf in the afternoon and very reasonable prices. Scenery was such a treat. As elevated 2000 foot above St. George it was cooler, but with layers we were fine. Played with a local man which was fun.... More
What a great experience. We enjoyed ourselves from the moment we pulled up to the bag drop until our last putt. The front nine is pretty straight foreward but the back is a "gottcha". the scenery was spectacular, greens and fairways in great shape. Loved the course.
The golf course at Valderra is a mixed bag: The front nine is like a links style couse with nicely maintained fairways and greens. The back nine is very interesting with some nice views of the surrounding red rocks and some elevation changes and barrancas to negotiate. All in all, a very challenging but very fun course to play.
The staff here is really friendly. This location is 1000 ft higher than St George and thus is colder especially in February. Front nine is flat and seemed easier than the western back nine which has holes overlooking Snow Canyon. Number fifteen was playing as par 3, usually par 4, seemed to house construction going on at the tee box.... More

This course is not nearly the exclusive course that it was designed to be. However, it is still an excellent course. It is also a great value for the area. I would play this course again. It is worth the short drive out of the area. I wish the traps were a little better maintained and the course was maintained... More
A very good golf course with great views at the back nine.
