The lobby was almost enough

The installation in the lobby was almost enough to make the trip. We did see the origami exhibit which we found very interesting. I would certainly consider going again.

We could have spent more time, but we enjoyed both the traveling and permanent exhibits, especially the Menerva Tichert paintings. By the way, more of her paintings are also found in the Joseph Smith building on campus.

The BYU Museum of Art is an outstanding fine art museum. It leads the country every year in the volume of visitors who attend their exhibits. The Carl Bloch Sacred Gifts exhibit was absolutely life altering! There were pieces on loan for the exhibit that will never again enter the United States. This is a great place to come and... More

We've been here many, many times and will be back. We love the traveling exhibits- most recently the Indian art- Loving Devotions, Costumes from Hollywood, and Sacred Gifts. They tend to have ipads which are SO WORTH IT to fully enjoy the exhibits and learn more. The ipads make your experience go from a 7-8 to a 10+.

A great place to ponder great works of art. Except for the whistles and weird singing by immature collage aged Mormon brats.

The exhibits were superb. This was a very educational visit for us. This would be an excellent place to visit with children of ages 8-10 and up.

Drive in and mention you are going to the museum, you fret a close up and free parking right in front of the museum. E exhibits are free and designed to let you take your time or speed through. There are usually a few differnt exhibits always open to peruse through. Always a delight. They have a cafe that is... More

This museum is medium sized, with good and varied collections. The special exhibits are especially good. Many feature religious art, but others feature special exhibits seen usually only at major museums. If the you want to view one of the special exhibits, you'll need to check ahead. You may need a reservation; however, they are usually excellent and well worth... More

The Museum of Art brings in some of the finest and rarest displays, and when we attended the most recent exhibition of the Carl Block paintings we were not disappointed. The cafe is something I really need to try out.
