We have been able to attend several exhibits at the Art Museum on the beautiful BYU campus, and have loved them all. Three that stand out are Norman Rockwell, Sacred Gifts and Carl Bloch. Beautiful artwork in all, and so well displayed. There is no charge, but tickets should be reserved online in advance. The Norman Rockwell exhibit ends February... More

My wife and I spent an hour or so at the Rockwell exhibit. It is fantastic and includes some of his best known pieces. I can't say too much about the rest of the museum which seemed a little small. I do like the large Carl Bloch painting they have.

Spent about two hours viewing Norman Rockwell's work. It was crowded despite going on a Thursday in the middle of the day and having reservations. Parking was easy for us as we had handicapped passes. The short video presented before going to see the exhibit itself was a great way to understand what we would be seeing. I had a... More

The University owns several Rockwells, which have been added upon by loans from the Rockwell Society and other galleries to create an exhibit not to be missed by any fan of the prolific American artist. It seemed all his favorites were there, including every cover from The Saturday Evening Post over all those decades, and other pieces from later in... More

Although this exhibit is for a limited time (until Feb 13,02016), I would happily recommend a visit. The exhibit is called American Chronicles. It's a history lesson, art lesson, and patriotic lesson all rolled into one beautiful display. You need to get tickets (free) from their website or chance it with standby tickets. I am going again!

An old friend of mine was showing me where he went to college and I noticed a museum on campus. Had to divert! This museum is excellent. Good collection of fine art painting both classical and religious, including lots of pieces related to the history of Joseph Smith and other Mormons. While I visited there was an awesome touring exhibit... More

One of my absolute favorite places in Provo city. The atmosphere, especially with the Plexus exhibit right now is open and comforting. Often they have wonderful exhibits, and last year I especially loved the hindu exhibit. They are occasionally hit or miss though. And if you're there at lunch time the cafe on the second floor is delicious.

Attractive building with lobby skylight featuring a fiber prism. Lots of religious art. Lower lever installation of massive murals depicting the LDS pioneer experience. Informative. Building a little hard to find (campus road construction made it worse.)
