Many of my trips to Provo are in and out for football games or dropping kids off at camps. So we sadly don't always get time or the opportunity to visit the museum. But this is a hidden gem and we come whenever time permits. When the BYU-Texas football game was delayed for rain a coue years ago, we headed... More

The BYU MOA always has imaginative and beautiful exhibits. These change several times during the year so you are wise to visit often. And it's free! Don't miss the sculpture garden right outside the south doors. There is a free visitor's parking lot right outside the north doors. Also, the cafe in the museum has great salads, soups and sandwiches.... More

The Museum of Art always has something interesting and inspiring to show its visitors. I especially love the statue garden in the back. A beautiful, serene place. Worth every visit.

This is another nice museum in Provo. I liked it a great deal, while it might not have been the cup of tea our grandchildren wanted served. Maybe best for older kids and especially for adults. The permanent art is very lovely. It is a modern building and the art is very tastefully arranged as you travel throughout the building.

Over the past 25 years, my wife and I have gone to the Museum of Art (MOA) at BYU a lot! We have seen some world class displays and exhibitions. We've seen the Ramses exhibit. Yes, Ramses from the Ten Commandments. We've seen a great Etruscan exhibit, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the art of Carl Bloch, the Imperial Tombs of... More

I wasn't interested in their permanent collection but the guest exhibits were very good. I saw all three in one evening: Origami, "Weaving the Unexpected" and "Deco Japan". Personally "Weaving the Unexpected: Navajo Pictorials from Lucke Collection" was the most surprising one because I didn't know what to expect. It was very interesting how the colonial popular culture influenced Motifs... More

The BYU campus is always great to visit with its beautiful landscape against the mountains. We love the art museum, but weren't sure we were really into the art of origami (paper folding), which was the rotating exhibit in June-July 2015. Boy, were we surprised for it turned out to be one of the most fascinating exhibits we've ever seen!... More

Marvelous exhibits and annual special 'guest' exhibits to enjoy. Cafe on premises has good sandwiches/salads/desserts.

Setting: On very impressive university campus with scenic mountain views. Building and admission: Modern and very clean. We were the only visitors at the time. Admission was free. Staff: Positive and friendly; but not sufficiently trained about the overall collections and what is on display. For example, we asked about the Norman Rockwells and were told none were on display.... More
