The Museum of Art brings in some of the finest and rarest displays, and when we attended the most recent exhibition of the Carl Block paintings we were not disappointed. The cafe is something I really need to try out.

Just in time for Costume and the Cinema exhibit (open till December 6). Although I don’t watch many movies, I like sewing and I am a cosplayer wannabe (…kidding!) so I enjoyed it a lot. The costumes are displayed on dress forms (rather than on mannequin with face/head) so it didn’t look like a wax museum and I thought it... More

New exhibits every time we visit this museum. The use of iPads for visitors are extremely well done. Always great!

The travelling exhibit of King Tut was really great. It was well integrated into the regular exhibits.

To say that this is Utah's second finest art museum is certainly faint praise indeed. The building itself is a fine, modern structure. And, however small and limited its collection, the admission is free, and the travelling exhibits which stop here offer surprising views into some otherwise unexplored areas. The museum's collection of American art, while not as large as... More

BYU is not laid out on the Mormon grid. So finding this little gem of an art museum can be tricky. However once you do, you'll find a great gallery. Displays are subject to Mormon sensibilities. One year, they locked two Rodin sculptures in the basement because they felt they were "obscene."
