This is a museum that has been on BYU's campus forever, but has recently been completely redone. It is beautiful, easy to navigate and it's very informative. The kids that we took with us on our recent visit (ages 12, 9 and 3) all really enjoyed it. All the displays are clean, open and easy to navigate. There is a... More

This place is such a blast! The kids loved it, and they have these little presentations from some of the staff that were really entertaining. I found this place to be very cool! I haven't been back since their renovation, but I've heard it's great! I would highly recommend taking your kiddos for a fun educational, and best of all... More

The life-like settings for the wild animals will intrigue old and young. Great place. And it's free!

Last visited this museum shortly after first opened. Completely re-done. Wonderful exhibits of large animals in natural settings. Particularly liked the Packer room and his birds. Lots of young mothers with children visited. Somewhat difficult to get to. Be aware, they moved the entrance to the east side.

We've stopped here many times over the years when we are on campus and need to kill some time with little ones in tow. My kids have always enjoyed seeing the animals and sitting in on any student led presentations. I would say the best ages to visit are 3-12.

All of the displays were great work, and very interesting to see different animals on display. This is on the BYU campus so it is a free museum and a great way to spend a couple hours wandering around looking at the great work.

This isn't really an interactive museum. It is more of just a walk and look around. It is free which is a bonus, so if you have children that you are looking to keep busy for an hour or so this is a good place for them. There are a lot of art students that also use it for sketches.... More

We loved this place! We have took five children from 5-11 with us and they all had a good time. There was a lot to see and explore, and several interactive displays that let them touch and feel things. There is even a small play area (it has a slide, some crawl on things and a magnetic ant game). We've... More

All these Museum's are incredibly well done so depending on the amount of time you have, go visit the ones that interest you the most first. This one was the first non-official BYU one I visited and it was just as great. A lot of history, but also a wide amount of information letting you see the how and why... More

This small museum features really lifelike displays of predators and prey of many varieties--lions bringing down antelope, wolves bringing down reindeer, etc. These tableau are lifelike, so if your children are very young or very tender, the museum may be a bit intense for them. There are also displays of other animals, including an enormous elephant. One of the best... More
