Conveniently links sites ... Safe, scenic, and downhill (if you go in the right direction :-) I stayed at the Prospector, and was able to walk back from Main Street in park city in about half an hour. There are restrooms located in the city park, right along the trail, and at night the lights go on automatically when you... More

A local pointed out this trail to us and we used it to get to Main Street in Park City and to take long walks. Lots of bicyclists use it as well. Everyone was friendly and great about sharing the space, even on a busy 4th of July walk.

We love the town lift, nice long and relaxing ride. We don't ski so it is great to see the slopes and look for wildlife.

Well maintained trail. Lots of ponds and trail markers with information. Very flat and easy to bike ride.

The "Rail Trail" runs through the heart of Park City. From Historic Main Street all the way to Coalville. Once the rail bed for the UP Train that would haul the silver from the mines in Park City. It is a great trail for, walking, hiking, bike riding, and skiing in the winter.

I've run, hiked and biked along this trail over the last year (on various visits) and I love that this trail is well-maintained without losing too much of the natural elements around it.

I'm not sure if we technically were on the Union Pacific Rail Trail, but there are so many wonderful bike trails around Park City, you can choose your route. We headed out of Park City toward Kimball Junction, following a paved trail toward a historic barn, with beautiful mountain scenery all around. This route went under the highway and then... More

Great views, wildlife aplenty. If you have the time and have a mt. bike or love to hike you got to hit the Trail.

This is a great trail for an easy jaunt on a bike or walk with the dog. For one thing, it's huge. There are tons of sections you can do, depending on the length you want to travel. After a big breakfast in town, we like to take our dog to the leg that leaves Park City proper. On cloudy... More
