Take this route in the fall when the colors are at their peak. Go slowly and take your time. Avoid tailgating the vehicle ahead of you, or you will just end up eating a lot of road dust and seeing less.
I wish I had more time to 'meander' more up there. Breathtakingly beautiful! The fall yellows on the Aspens, the deer, I was in awe in the drive.

When the pass is open we enjoy taking this route into the Deer Valley area and Park City. You have amazing views of mountains, valleys and creeks. I sometimes have a little vertigo in places because of the steep drop offs - but it is well worth it!
You'll need a 4-wheel vehicle or travel carefully. Even in the early summer, there's snow-a-plenty on the ground. The views are fantastic, so remember your camera.
