Wonderful resort

Great place even in summer. Take the ski lft to 9400 ft. Great views. We had lunch at the Stein Erickson lodge. Sat on the balcony. Good food, good service, great setting.

We recently stayed in Deer Valley at the Lodges at Deer Valley and had an exceptional stay. Beautiful rooms and pool area; excellent helpful staff. Ate in their restaurant one night and it was delicious with a nicely done pub feel. The whole Deer Valley area has great trails, dining, and places to relax. Would definitely return.

Just above downtown Park City area you find a couple jumping off points for the collective peaks that make Deer Valley Resort. We enjoyed dining at both the Royal Street Cafe and the Stein Eriksen Lodge restaurants surrounding the ski lift. Gorgeous outdoor dining with great meals at both, Bike enthusiasts were everywhere as I'm sure skiers will be in... More

This Ski Resort has the best groomed trails in the USA. I ahve skied at almost 50 resorts in the US and all the big ones like Aspen, Vail, Jackson Hole, Whistler and Park City and Deer Valley has the best groomers. They also have amazing eats. Hit the Stein Erickson Lodge and see what I am talking about. The... More

None of this will probably be a newsflash to anyone reading this review. But, as a person who has been to Deer Valley multiple times (as a destination resort visitor from back east, not as a local), I think I am somewhat of an expert to comment on Deer Valley. Here are some of the things I love about Deer... More

Great hiking but I dinged the rating because the trail signs are poor. In one spot they disappear altogether. Otherwise, exceptionally fun.

We were told about the free summer concerts in Wednesdays in the summer so we packed a picnic dinner and headed up. Wow! What a fun atmosphere! Good music and great for our kids to play around. They even have gourmet food baskets you can order ahead of time and pick up when you get there. You have to order... More

I like skiing here because so many that ski here stay out of the woods and the ungroomed skiing. We spend the day skiing while it snowed outside. We received over a foot of snow what day and so many people skiing that day just stayed off the ungroomed trails and the wooded areas.

With a wink and a nod, Deer Valley has created a resort that caters to skiers that pride themselves on a mindset that views anyone on a snowboard as scum. It's interesting to ski with these elitists that can't seem to reconcile that getting down the mountain on a snowboard will somehow jeopardize their skiing experience. I find this narrow... More

This is a double lift in that you go up to a second hill and complete your ride on a higher lift. There is a coupon in the coupon folder in the lobby at most hotels to give you 1/2 off the second passenger.
