The skiing in Deer Valley is some of the best I've experienced. We've been for the first week in April every time and the snow has been unbelievable. Freshies eveyorning! The runs are varied and extensive and the off piste amazing. However the downside is that it is an expensive resort. Definitely not skiing on a budget but, in my... More

I've been coming here for years and it is always a pleasant high end experience. Had the 3 year old in ski school last year for the first time and it was great the way they took care of him, we felt very safe. Also a bonus is no snow boarders! And they take really good care of their snow!

Snow is great, service is even better. Excellent food and drinks. Did not like some of the hotdog skiers when no patrollers were around.

Been coming here for almost 20 years. Summer, winter, in between...it is so easy to get to from SLC and feels like you are way out. Groomers all day long are fun, but when it snows, head toward empire and Lady Morgan for expert terrain.

I recently had the good fortune to check out the summer, lift-assisted mountain biking at this ski resort. Had an awesome two-hour downhill riding lesson with Doug, and then took some runs on my own later that afternoon. If you are into downhill mountain biking, or have ever wanted to try it, check out the options at Deer Valley in... More

Deer Valley is, without a doubt, one of the two best ski resorts in North America. The other is Vail, and I really can't decide which is best. Deer Valley provides varied terrain, great groomy cruisers, small lift lines, no snowboarders, and the finest on site restaurant of any ski mountain on the planet. A great day is first tracks... We stayed at Trails End Lodge, which is a cluster of condos near the base of Bald Eagle Mountain (part of Deer Valley). It was ski in- ski out, which was nice after a long day of skiing. Very near our condo was a room in which we had breakfast and after ski snacks. The lodges up on the mountain... More

Deer Valley is awesome! Skiing is fabulous but I was here in the summer and loved the hiking trails! Hike up and take the chairlift down or the reverse. If you are extra fit you can hike the whole way. There is so much to see and do here before and after a hike. You never have to leave this... More
