We spent a week over the New Years school break with our 13 and 17 year olds. We skied Park City, the Canyons, and Deer Valley. Without a doubt, Deer Valley offered the best product and experience of the 3. The staff was very friendly and having a mountain ambassador at every lift was much appreciated. Our family is at... The skiing & dining is fantastic in winter but the summers are absolutely delightful. Fabulous concert series with the Utah Symphony and featured artists. Great place to hike and the dining superb.

We have been going to DeerValley for years and there is no other place like it. this year was the worst snow in history for many resorts and we skied the last day of the season with great conditions. Grooming like no other.

I love everything about Deer Valley, except for the cost of hanging out there. The slopes are immaculately maintained, and their no-snowboard policy keeps them in excellent condition, while providing for a more relaxed overall experience. The quality and variety of the slope-side food offerings is unparalleled.

This is my second visit to Deer Valley, and the staff are always very helpful, and the crews work very hard to groom the trails so you have the best possible conditions. Unlike Park City, there are no snowboarders on the runs, so in my view it is a safer and more pleasant experience. The lift tickets cost about $110... More

We had the pleasure of the fireside dining at Deer Valley Resort. What a wonderful experience. The food is prepared in five heathstone fireplaces from appetizer to dessert. Service was good but the food was excellent.

We loved our trip to Deer Valley. The staff was attentive, friendly and informed. The ski school for our 9 year old was fine, he was in a group class so he did have a bathroom accident that could have been avoided, but the staff in the lodge was very helpful to remedy the situation. The private instructors were top... More

We like the trails at Deer Valley and the food located on the mountain. However, they known for there trail grooming but we found that the trails were over groomed, packed down and icy compared to other ski mountains i the area.

I've been skiing for over 50 years -- not sure why it took so long to get to this great ski resort -- but more than worth the wait . . No fresh snow on my visit -- but the grooming was impeccable . . The 'staff' located almost everywhere were friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help with anyones... More
