If you're thinking about skiing in Utah next year, ski somewhere else. If you're thinking about skiing in Deer Valley, definitely ski somewhere else. Here's a place where customer satisfaction is tossed aside. Here's an example, no morning skiing without purchasing a full day lift pass. If you provide documentation that you are taking a noon flight out, they will... more

Deer Valley is a beautiful mountain in Park City. Beware, skiers only. If you bring a snowboard, you better leave it in the car, as my boyfriend had to do. The mountain had some fantastic runs, but unfortunately the grooming report wasn't quite up to date while we were there in March, much to my mother's dismay. She ended up... more

I have been skiing on the East Coast since I was a kid, but this was just my second trip out west. Deer Valley had excellent conditions (there was light snow both days that we skiied there). The trails are generally wide and have lots of opportunities to explore off the trails. Good variety of terrain, from long winding trails... more

We took the 2 hour snow mobiling tour that Deer Valley offers at Graff Ranch. It was so much fun & had the most breathtaking views. We had wanted to do the 3.5 hour tour with lunch because it seemed like a better value, but that option was not available. We ended up actually being grateful that we got the... more

Just returned from a three night trip to Deer Valley and I can't imagine a better place to ski. Loved the fact that they do not allow snowboards at this resort. I had not skiied in over 11 years and I was a little nervous to see if I still knew how to ski. What I remembered about the last... more

I have skied all over Colorado. I have enjoyed these trips and the ski towns my family has visited. About nine years ago a friend asked if I would go out to Park City to ski during the Sundance Film Festival. My wife encouraged me to go-great decision. We skied the Canyons, Park City and Deer Valley. Once we went... more

We had a such an awesome family Christmas in Deer Valley with great skiing conditions and really cosy accommodation. Nothing to complain about! The resort itself had excellent base lodges with decent restaurants for lunch while you ski, and upscale restaurants for the evenings. The rental shops are friendly and helpful, the queues on the lifts were never long and... more

Our first problem upon arrival to Deer Valley is that no one seems to speak English as a first language. The lift lines were sooo long, we had three kids in ski school and all three had to be dropped off in different places. It was almost impossible. One day we had a private lesson and because there is no... more

Great skiing on an uncrowded mountain. Fun nightlife in the adjacent city. Easy access via Salt Lake City airport (a very smooth 45 minute drive). Why does anyone go to Colorado? more

I am an Intermediate skier and consider Deer Valley to be the ultimate- I've been there twice and love their wide open, groomed trails. Much shorter lift lines than Colorado, and the food on the mountain is the best anywhere- yes, they have chili, but when's the last time you saw a salad/sushi bar on the slopes?! Service is outstanding... more
