We went two days after a major storm so the conditions were excellent. The resort is beautiful, the lodges very nice, the runs are very long. There is very little for beginner skiers but lots for intermediate and expert. The only negative is that the area is so big that there is a lot of traversing to get from one... More

The most beautiful ski resort I have ever been too, remarkably beautiful, very clean, great staff. This was my first time skiing in 12 years, the Green Meadow beginner slope was great, perfect for beginners. However, I moved up to the double green and it felt more like an advanced intermediate. I took a bad spill and hit my head,... More

Well maintained and varied trails. The lift tickets were 50% discounted if you were with a group meeting...a real good deal. The slopes were not too crowded nor were the lift lines long despite the perfect weather and it being a weekend.

We have a timeshare at a property at the Canyons and we LOVE spending our week there. Our kids look forward the Wednesday farmers market with its music, make your own sno-cones, and the little free gondola ride up to the resort. The resort just added paddle boat rides on the mountain, which add to the great hiking and biking... More

Loved the sheer expanse of the ski area, great variety of terrain and snow. Was not keen on mountain lodge food , very expensive needs to look at its Canadian cousin Whistler to see how they do healthy reasonable price on mountain food. But liftees were good and friendly , the local bus system worked really well. About 8minutes from... More

This was our third trip to ski at Canyons and we really enjoyed it again. The snow was great, the runs are long, and the scenery beautiful. Lots of nice blue runs, although they vary greatly in difficulty so explore some. My favorite run was Boa, off the Super Condor express. A blue run, not too steep, beautiful scenery and... More

Lots of skiiable terrain. My main suggestion to anyone going is to enjoy a Belgian Waffle Torpedo-style (with dark choclate in the middle). My taste buds have shunned anything since. You'll find Bruges waffles near the Red Pine lodge. My only concern about the resort is the amount of flat terrain used to connect trails. This is out shined by... More

Love you can be on the slopes on a tram ride from town. This is the best for atmosphere. We love the employees... they seem like they love what they do and they love their job.

This area is spread out and does need more lifts to connect the area. However, the skiing was great and if variety is what you are after you will be glad you came to this unique ski area.

My son is a snow boarder and he is very welcome on the hill. He loves ski school because they take him to areas that his Dad can't. The Canyons is really a great area to hang out after skiing as well.
