Great mountain with excellent variety of difficulty. Excellent grooming and well laid out. I want to come back when there is 3 feet of snow - not sure they wouold be a better place to ski the deep.

Don't let the number of acres fool you. This place is split in half by a development and the runs in this area are only to give the homes ski in/out access. Navigating this mountain is strange and you must plan you day to get back to the Gondola side or be stuck on the other side of the mountain.... More

Poor Signage on runs is why I gave them a 4/5. Lots of different types of runs but more for the advanced skier. Gondola was a great way to get to mid mountain, and back to bottom if too tired to ski down.

We have skied The Canyons every year for eight years and we grow to love it more every time we visit. The staff are friendly and helpful and the mountain is huge so the skiers and boarders spread out keeping the lines to a minimum. Lots of great restaurants. We love the salads and chili at Cloud Dine and Sun... More

We had a great experience at the Canyons. Lots of variety and interesting runs. It is fun, at least the first few times, to ski the south end of the area where you ski over and under subdivision roads that lead to luxury houses on the mountainside. This is the only resort I have ever been to that gives you... More

This is a ski resort built in a village that is to say you are constantly crossing bridges to get down the mountain. Seriously there are better resorts in Utah than this one, don't bother.

we visited the canyons ski resort last week. It was nice but it needs many things to compete with Deer Valley in order to become a world class resort. They need to make more snow for a winter like they have had and they need to groom more runs so that people can get out and see the mountain.

We've always liked skiing at The Canyons but the amenities were lacking and it was hard to get around. Over the last few years they have solved that with extensive development, re-routing the gondola, adding more lifts and opening more area. This year The Canyons exceeded PCMR to place #2 on our list of Park City Resorts.
