Once you have got over the extortionate price (expect to pay north of $120 for a day ticket, a bit less if you buy it at a sports shop in SLC), you will enjoy a very extensive ski area (with some rather long diagonal lift transfers, though), good to excellent food right on the runs, and your money’s worth of... Have been coming here winter and summer for 30 years. It is now a world class resort and with Vail now managing it this will only become better. The mountain is great both for skiing and for summer hiking and adventure. Hopefully the proposed golf course will be ready next year.

Long, Fast, High, Scary, Safe and Exhilarating, that is what you want when you do a zip line. Our family has tried all the zip lines in Park City, and this is THE BIG ONE. Now don't get me wrong, the Park City Resort and Olympic Park zip lines are fun and worth the hair raising ride down. But the... More

This is a very great moutain, with easy access to the backcountry. Inbounds can get a bit busy, but on a powder day you can usually find stashes all day becase of the size of the mountian.

The snow was still great even in late March! Had a great time, the ski area is huge! Lots of intermediate runs. Great for all levels of experience.

Canyons was a little more crowded than I prefer. We went over Christmas, and that's obviously their busy time. The resort was gorgeous and I loved the heated gondola, but I prefer skiing less crowded parks.

OK. Not all the terrain was open but we still had lots of fun. The weather and visibility could not be beat! It was a good thing that they had received new snow earlier in the week. We were there during the last week of operation and there were spots that were not open because of very low snow or... More

This place is a glimpse of what the future of skiing will be everywhere. Once you've ridden the lift with the orange bubble, you'll agree. Every lift will one day be equipped with them. If the snow is horizontal, pull the bubble over you. If it's nice and sunny, leave it off. Great skiing. Monstrous terrain. Nice gondolas.

Have been out to SLC many times skiing and finally went to the Canyons this year. Incredible size and variety, Sometimes the flat sections get annoying but you can avoid them once you get the feel for the resort. So large you can easily spend a week here.
