Went here on a family trip expecting less than neighboring Park City, but was pleasantly surprised! The mountain itself is enormous and is sprawled across multiple peaks. The lifts were in great shape and the grooming was fantastic. Although it doesn't offer the gnarly terrain that Alta and Snowbird do, it's ideal for bluebird days on long, wide groomers.

The girls and I stayed at the Wyndham Park City which is inside the Canyons. We took the lift's up to the top of the mountains. WOW what a view of this beautiful area. There is a lake up in the high elevation called Alpine Lake. We also had lunch in between two lifts.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Every employee I have dealt with does not keep their word! Manager, asst. manager, housekeeping manager, etc...all have promised things and never kept their word! Our dishwasher has been out of commission for 3 out of our 4 days stay here (and it is still not fixed!). We were told by the receptionist and asst. manager... More

Stopped by to kill some time while waiting for a red eye flight out of Salt Lake City. Quite disappointing compared to Deer Valley, Sundance, etc.

Canyons resort is central to many of the best things to do in the area, close to Park City, Kimball Junction and the highways. The property is well maintained and we enjoyed the outdoor summer concert series.

My daughter and I had never zip lined before. We booked the $49 tour and weren't disappointed. The staff was great, very thorough and fun. Don't waste your time with only the $29 tour, you'd be disappointed. You have to do the big run, it's so worth it! I was terrified, but I willed myself to do it and I... More

the resort is amazing. I went skiing here for only one day but i think this place could easily take 3-5days to really enjoy the mountain. This has to be one of the top resorts in the country. Everything felt first class including the gondolas, parking, etc. The location is wonderful and the views from the chair lifts was incredible.... More

I went there for business during the end of summer. Nice place, good restaurants, great view. I can't tell about skiing, but you'll love mountain biking there!

A very challenging golf course just opened at the Canyons in Park City, Utah, in June. Beautiful vistas of the surrounding area. Bring lots of extra balls, many target golf holes. You get to go up the mountain then down again. Very reasonable price for such a nice new course. I doubt if it wil be this reasonable in future... More

So easy to ski and stay at this place. The Grand Summit lodge is Ski in and Ski out. Restaurant's on site with easy access to your room. The Resort is large. Lots of skiing and riding to do...probably need two days to really see the whole mountain when everything is open. Worth visiting...better in Jan-March...any earlier or later and... More
