Terrain terrain terrain. This place is huge and about to get bigger once they join park and canyons. They skiing was amazing and seemed like no one was around. We were fortunate to get about 10" while we were there (had a tough season in park city). The terrain is advanced for most of the mountain, but an absolutely great... More

My husband loves Canyons due to the variety of blue and black runs, but I would say it's not super family friendly. For first time skiers that are just learning, the ski school is really great as is the day care! We really love the on-mountain day care and the kids ski and snowboard school. The gondola up the mountain... More

I was a little concerned about the quality of skiing because of the snow reports but skiing had been great. Grooming was excellent and we've had a great time. Never felt crowded and didn't have to wait long at all for lifts. It's a big place so lots of options. There aren't many greens but many of the easier blues... More

There is so much terrain to cover you really have to plan your days if you want to try it all. Snow grooming is very good, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Despite a season of poor snowfall in all the west USA resorts, we had a very good trip, largely due to the quality of the grooming on the slopes. The canyons is a huge resort and there is plenty of terrain to go around, it never was crowded.

The Canyons is a BIG ski area spread out over 4 or 5 hills. Skied there 4 days and explored all the terrain which is fun cuz then you can go back to areas you like more than others. For food and cool vibe, Tombstone Lodge was the best. Went up to Cloud Dine and not impressed - crowded, food... More

The Canyons is very well organized. I recently attended a conference at the Grand Summit Hotel; there are plenty of lodging options, although most are pretty expensive. I did not have a good experience on the slopes due to warm sunny weather and poor snow on the crowded intermediate runs during President's Day holiday, but I cannot blame The Canyons... More

We loved the Canyon's. We are not expert skiers, and we never felt out of place. My 2 children went to the ski camp for a day and have fantastic instruction and it allowed my wife and I to enjoy a day together on the slopes. Can't wait to go back and explore more of the mountain. Everyone was so... More

it's a fun resort for kids and families - the tunnels and bridges through The Colony are really fun. The trails are not wide like Snowbird and Park City, sometimes too narrow for snowboards. But whatever you do, do NOT rent at Aloha Skis, they are super super slow (about an hour to get rentals!)

Amazing staff and skiing for the kids. Great food at the top of the mountain and the instructors were so patient. I would recommend this resort when you come to Park City.
