One think I liked about this resort is its accessibility. From the parking lot, you can walk to the lift ( cabriolet ) and be on the mountain in no time. Several third party ski rentals are available. They give military discount on lifts but not on rentals. Limited terrain for beginners but good trails. They are well maintained and... More

It was my first time to Utah. The weather was unusually warm, the skiing was great in my opinion. Beautiful scenic area. Would love to go back with the kids!

Great area and hotel. Snow was sparse due to a bad snow year, but was still nice. Great lifts which connect you with all the slopes and area Definitely would love to ski this area with good snow.

Overall, the skiing here was pretty good. Frankly, the other skiers tended to be more snooty than the crowd at Park City. I liked Park City better, but the resorts are about to be linked by one massive gondola to make the largest ski resort in North America!

I've lived in Park City for 10 years now. I have skied all 3 resorts in Park City. The Canyons is HUGE. I highly recommend NOT darting around the whole mountain but rather pick a lift / area to ski for a while and then move on to the next lift / area. Each area is wonderful and there's something... Visiting the Canyons was the icing on my cake for ski vacations. The staff at the Canyons is very helpful and friendly, the skiing is great, and the resort has so much to offer. I highly recommend taking a trip here.

In February I had 6 weeks skiing at the Canyons and Park City and I can report that out of Park City and Deer Valley, The Canyons is the best as far as interesting terrain (through the massive houses), long runs and sheer size. Park City is nice and well organised but the runs are all much the same ie.... More

The view from up top while on the lift is amazing. Relaxing - made you forget about the every day stress for a moment. Met some nice people on the lifts. Employees were friendly and were easy to approach. I went there on a week when there hasn't been much snowfall, and unfortunately there were a few trails that were... More

The trails will appeal to all skier types. The trail grooming was better at the Canyons then what we experienced at Deer Valley which was over groomed and icy. The food on the mountain was very good and we especially like the smoked grill (Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket and BBQ chicken) offerings near the Tombstone Lift.
