The Canyons - or whatever the latest name is/will be - is a big resort. Lots of terrain, you can spread out and get away from the crowds. For black diamond runs, take the ninety-nine-ninety lift (which is the altitude a the top). Ski away from the gondola and the lifts closest to it if you wan to avoid the... More

The Canyons is a large ski resort. All skiing is nice, but skiing at The Canyons is not nearly as pleasant as skiing at Park City or Deer Valley. The Canyons is huge, but poorly laid out. I felt like I spent half my time on long, slow traverses trying to get from one mountain to another. My friend who... More

Canyons Resort is a good ski resort that can be quite fun, especially on deep powder days. My wife and I recently had an epic ski day here after a 3-foot powder dump the night before. Slippery roads and the fact that it occurred a little later in the year kept many of the crowds at bay. Food is good... More

The Canyons offers so much. Tons of ski terrain. Restaurants. Concerts. Mini Golf. Fishing. Bike Park. Everything. My only complaint is the parking. You have to park below and take a little life up to the base and then, if you want to go up to the top, another lift. Not sure how they can make it better, it's just... More

Fantastic family skiing. Especially loved the bubble lift w/ the heated seats. Wonderful views. The bottom run getting to the resorts or the bubble lift was always icy, so beware. Otherwise loads of fun!

The canyons is a great skiing spot, and the gondolas that took you from the town to the slopes were great. Atmosphere good, and I liked the cafe at the top of the mountain where you could eat lunch on the go before skiing again

Stay at Sundial Lodge. Great place to stay. Fall leaves in October are beautiful. Crisp mountain air feels good in your lungs !!

We stayed at the Sundial at the Canyons Resort. Our room was great. Hot tubs, pool and fire pits were perfect. Staff was friendly and kind. The Views... Beautiful.

The Canyons has good trails, good lifts, and good snow. It isn't Alta, but it's still a very good place to ski. You won't be disappointed.

What a beautiful resort. First class service, much like Vail. Good food, chairlift from the parking lots. Highly recommended!
