For summer visitors - There are two gondolas at the resort. The first runs when parking areas above are full. It is free and you stand up. This is fun for kids and gets you to restaurants in the resort village. The second gondola ride is about 5 to 10 minutes. It take you over a hill, into a valley... More

We stayed at Wyndham Park City, which is within this resort area. My sister stayed at the Hyatt at the same time, which was just up the hill. We met up everyday for activities. Most of our activities were done outside of this resort area. The Canyons golf course was just opened, but we didn't get a chance to try... More

The best time to visit, besides the entire ski season is the 3rd of July. There is a huge outdoor concert with fireworks and everything! Lots of food, beer and people watching! Bring your own blanket to sit on.

We are season pass owners and visit often in the summer for the concerts, fireworks, and mountain biking. With Vail's commitment to the resort, it will only get better over the years.

I rode Deer Valley the day prior. Trails were rocky, not well maintained, and had only one good run with jumps. Canyons offers plenty of flow trails with big jumps and catwalks. I loved it. Best place I have been besides Whistler for MTB. Day pass is $36 Lifts have water and food access

We have skied a lot of places and thought this would be just ok. Instead it was a blast. Helped to get fresh snow. Lots of variety of runs. Great lifts. Friendly workers. We will come back!

Wanting to 'do it all' during our week at a resort hotel at The Canyons, Tami & I signed on for the Epic Zip line package. Greeted by confident, young, well-trained guides at the 'office', we were fitted with harnesses and helmets. Then, off to the training mini zip to test the equipment and learn how to use it. From... We went here on a beautiful Saturday. Started the day over on Pine Mt. and then here. Enjoyed this more. Enclosed chairs take you half way up, then you catch another lift to the very top (lake with trout) is here. Trout are big. The walk back down to the enclosed chair lift was a challenge only because of lack... More

During our September stay, we found it to be a quiet and pleasant resort, with excellent fall weather. The resort village had a fair amount of shops and restaurants. We picked up some snacks from the well-stocked convenience store for our daily hikes, and enjoyed sweeping vistas from plenty of hiking trails. We took the gondola to the High Meadow... More
