I've lived in Park City for 10 years now. I have skied all 3 resorts in Park City. The Canyons is HUGE. I highly recommend NOT darting around the whole mountain but rather pick a lift / area to ski for a while and then move on to the next lift / area. Each area is wonderful and there's something... Visiting the Canyons was the icing on my cake for ski vacations. The staff at the Canyons is very helpful and friendly, the skiing is great, and the resort has so much to offer. I highly recommend taking a trip here.

In February I had 6 weeks skiing at the Canyons and Park City and I can report that out of Park City and Deer Valley, The Canyons is the best as far as interesting terrain (through the massive houses), long runs and sheer size. Park City is nice and well organised but the runs are all much the same ie.... More

The view from up top while on the lift is amazing. Relaxing - made you forget about the every day stress for a moment. Met some nice people on the lifts. Employees were friendly and were easy to approach. I went there on a week when there hasn't been much snowfall, and unfortunately there were a few trails that were... More

The trails will appeal to all skier types. The trail grooming was better at the Canyons then what we experienced at Deer Valley which was over groomed and icy. The food on the mountain was very good and we especially like the smoked grill (Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket and BBQ chicken) offerings near the Tombstone Lift.

We visited for Spring break and the skiing was slushy at best. The runs did not have a 36" base, mire like 3" to 6". The resort should have closed down early. Many people injured on the badly conditioned runs, it was either slush or ice. This is not Spring skiing as we were told by the ski patrol. We... More

I love the Canyons. The mountain is great for any level skier and the staff is so nice and courteous. The place is pretty pricey if you want food or beverages.

really enjoyed walking around here. Right by slopes so its fun to watch people come in and out from skiing. Everyone who worked in this area was very pleasant! Loved the canyons

The prices for lift passes and ski rentals have gone way up under Vail Resorts ownership. It feels like they are gouging you, and I don't see any major improvemeets on the mountain. And the late March skiing was terrible with bare spots in the middle of runs and skiing through slush all day. They should have instituted late season... More

Had a blast skiing here! We went to Park City Mountain Resort several days ago, which was nice, but I think this place blows them away. Now both resorts are now owned by the same company and they will be connected soon with a ski lift so you can go to both resorts in the same day. Kind of like... More
