Had a great time here viewing the 60+ bird houses that were entered in the annual contest. The hostess was friendly and informative. GPS put me a block away but I was able to find the entrance. Great wild bird and bee exhibits. I'll be back next year.

We have lived here for years and just barely went and checked this place out. We were shocked to find that it was not only larger than expected, but much more enjoyable as well. Our kids enjoyed the walking around, and loved seeing the eagles, falcons, etc. They also loved seeing the bee hive. We will definitely return soon, as... More

We visited in late June, and while we didn't see any animals (except the usual birds and one turkey), we had a great time. The birdhouse contest entries on the path to the visitors center were amazing and fun, and the natural grasses and plants were lovely. The visitor center/gift shop building was a pleasant surprise, with a small play... More

The Ogden Nature Center is a 152-acre nature preserve & education center. We visited last Saturday, specifically to see their owls. (Sometimes the resident animals are off-site for presentations, so I suggest calling ahead if there's a particular one that you'd like to see.) When I called, they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. In addition to a Barn... More

This is a really good place for family activities. Lots of outside birds to see outside, good inside activities. Really good place to learn about animals and birds.

We went to a summer concert at the Nature Center. It was intimate and lively. Great place to see and experience music.

A good start, but they could do a lot to improve this. Lots of birds and snakes. Disappointing to see signs that indicate they have certain wildlife, but they're not visible/present. We wouldn't return here unless we hear that they've made improvements.

I have rented the northernmost pavillion for my daughter's birthday the past two years. It is very secluded and a well covered place for 50 people to picnic at good solid tables. plenty of shade, some huge tree houses, and lots of walking trails to explore. It is a little hard to find. The main area of the nature center... More

There is an aviary there, so you can some of the birds that have been injured and recovered. One can walk around some, and the homemade birdhouse competition is fun.

Super fun activities for the family. Awsome earth day celebration. Also have had a wonderful time at the Halloween/harvest celebration in October. Kids camps all summer long.
