We went to a summer concert at the Nature Center. It was intimate and lively. Great place to see and experience music.
A good start, but they could do a lot to improve this. Lots of birds and snakes. Disappointing to see signs that indicate they have certain wildlife, but they're not visible/present. We wouldn't return here unless we hear that they've made improvements.
I have rented the northernmost pavillion for my daughter's birthday the past two years. Super fun activities for the family. Awsome earth day celebration. Also have had a wonderful time at the Halloween/harvest celebration in October. Kids camps all summer long.
This is a nice place to walk and just get outside, especially when it's too cold/wet to get up in the foothills. They tend to have a lot of activities going on too - both for kids and adults.
We visited the Ogden Nature Center as a family with young children (ages 4 and 7) and would recommend it. From the parking lot, you walk a short trail to the visitor's center. It is a lovely oasis in the middle of a city and enjoyment can be found on so many levels. Hike, do some birdwatching, pack a picnic, check out the mews with a variety of birds, shop in their great nature inspired gift shop, check out their green buildings and take advantage of the many environmental education and community events...
