I try to make a visit every year during my annual ski trip to Utah. The Hill AFB museum is a great visit even if you’re not an aircraft or military enthusiast. The display of weapons is an eye opener. Once you see the size of the Gatling gun cannon that makes the A-10 “Warthog” the worlds best tank killer,... More

I love this museum. I love the people that work here and the retiree's that hang out and just want to chat. There are some really neat aircraft here and tons of history. What a great place!

I recently visited this museum with a friend of mine who is a pilot. He had flown many of the aircraft in the museum including several of the old warbirds. Touring this facility with him was an amazing experience. Many of the older veterans who volunteer here began to join us as they realized he had first hand information on... More

Really worth visiting if you are interested in aviation and/or military items. Great displays, high quality aircraft-the whole museum is very well thought out and care taken by those who have produced it. It is worth going out of your way to visit the museum-the active Hill AFB is further down the road. Excellent shop.

Hill Aerospace Museum is one of the must see places for our grandchildren when they visit every summer. Seeing the planes up close and reading the related history gives them hours of entertainment while learning about this branch of our country's military and their service to the country.

This is an interesting large museum. There is no charge but donations are accepted. They have a large amount of interesting aircraft, etc. I do wish you could go inside some of them. It is not a very interactive museum but it was nice.

I've lived in this area for over 15 years and had never visited this museum until this summer. I must say, I was shocked at the size of the buildings and the amount of planes on display. Everything was very close up and labeled so that you knew what it was. The museum is nicely laid out and there are... More

The museum will take you back in history to WWII and the type of aircraft that were available. It will also show you the advances through these aircraft to modern day flight. It is not a guided tour, so you have the leisure to take your time and read about the aircraft as you wish. There are also volunteers through-out... More

The Hill Aerospace Museum is located on approximately 30 acres on the northwest corner of Hill Air Force Base, about five miles south of Ogden. The museum was founded in 1981 as a part of the United States Air Force Heritage Program and first opened in 1986. It moved to its current facility in 1991. The Museum exhibits more than... More

We did not know the museum existed and found it by chance. A great piece of American history. Wonderful that they work on donations only and give all a chance to visit.
