Goulding's is located in the heart of Monument Valley of Utah, very close to the Utah/Arizona border. The prodigal view of Monument valley buttes were visible right from our balcony/patio. A silent coffee/breakfast/snack on your balcony with such view was enough value for the money we spent to stay here, which, by the way, was not much. Do not expect... More

The people are nice; the accommodations are upscale and well maintained; the view from the room balcony is astounding. The tour was the best of our road trip and purchased through Gouldings (try to get Joe as your tour guide). The restaurant good and the service was excellent. Our only disappointment in Gouldings was the trading post. Since the place... More

I'm guessing due to the lack of places to stay in Monument Valley, places like this and The View can get away with charging $200+ a night for okay accommodations. I'm knocking them down due to the poor value, I just don't see how prices need to be so high. Also a side note: don't book rooms 324-327, they are... More

I spent one night here being a popular time of year. I had to stay in the Red Rock rooms which is a small building by a gas station which is below the main complex with no views of the valley. It is probably their overflow area but for over $110 a room it was still not cheap. The room... More

Take this Navajo tour of Monument and Mystery Valley; do not just do a drive through. The tour is excellent. We did not stay ate the lodge so I cannot speak about it. Our group took a Navajo-guided Goulding's Tour and it was superb. We had a tall, maybe 6 foot 6 inch Navajo gentleman named Joe. He was excellent.... More

We stayed at Goulding's Lodge for only one night at the tail end of a spring trip to AZ. Every room has a memorable view of the tribal lands. While not luxurious, the rooms are clean and functional, and the bathrooms, while small, have been updated. I was pleased to see a refrigerator! Also available is a flat screen TV... More

If you stay at Gouldings Lodge you must do their tours, they have several different ones depending on length you want. We did the 4pm de luxe three and half tour, it was fantastic. The tour was given by a local Navajo and so interesting. He takes you off road and into some beautiful areas, photographic opportunities abound, so much... More

The lodge is in a stunning location & very welcoming with good size room, fabulous view from the balcony, comfortable beds, good shower and good food for both dinner and breakfast. We took the half day guided navajo tour which was worth every penny, the guide whom I think was named John was friendly and so knowledgeable he made the... More

I've driven through Monument Valley several times before but this time my wife and I stayed at Goulding's Lodge RV Campground in our motorhome. Although the accommodations are not really deluxe they are very adequate and well maintained. We ate dinner one night in the lodge restaurant and it was very very good. I had a steak and my wife... I got the appetizer of the 4 navajo tacos that had chili, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on it. It was a huge portion and you definitely could split it with another person as a full meal. Their hot chocolate was amazing. The gift shop is very nice and I ended up buying a couple of hand painted water pitchers that... More
