Were told by lady at hotel that this place was a great place and she was right. The view was something else. They have a gift shop, cafe, motel and tours. All items in gift shop were authentic Indian items.

We visited Goulding's for several days and stayed at their campground. The view from the campground is breathtaking. They have several tours through the Navajo Reservation and we opted for the all day covering both Mystery Valley and Monument Valley, including lunch. We were here eight years ago and took the same tour. We greatly enjoyed the tour both times... More

I took the deluxe 3.5 hour tour with my family (8 of us) in July 2014. We did not stay in the lodge as it was booked up over a year in advance. Monument valley is beautiful and well worth seeing; however, I don’t recommend taking a tour. Our driver provided us with a couple interesting facts, but nothing life-changing.... More

Rich with history and Navajo culture! Beautiful backdrops courtesy of Mother Nature beautiful sunsets and sunrises. We camped in the campground which the dogs did not like because of lack of grass but, it was a very nice campground. The restaurant at the lodge was very nice and the food was good. Took a tour out onto the desert which,... More

We stayed at Goulding's for two nights & took the full day tour. If you have the time & the money I can think of few better ways to spend them. Our driver, Larry, was just terrific. He made the day so special for everyone on the tour. The hotel was clean & comfortable. We liked the restaurant experience, too.... More

We booked a Tour, yes it is expensive, as you can drive yourself into the park and pay only $20,=. But if you like to go a bit further and see some cows and ancient drawings on a cave, this is the way to go. We had the last tour that day, probably why the guide made little effort. He... More

This was my gift to myself. I am not used to paying these types of prices to stay in a room for one night -- $205.00 plus taxes. This place was really worth it, especially the room with the view. I had a perfect look at Monument Valley. I also made the effort to get up in the morning to... More

We stayed at Gouldings for two days to show our nephew Monument Valley. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and provides the services one needs to visit the Valley. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is adequate with a rather limited menu featuring "American" food and some with a Navajo touch. There is a small movie theatre on the... More

We stayed at te Goulding's Lodge it was great. We enjoyed the view of the monuments. We also enjoyed the tour of the Goulding's home, the museum with John Wayne and John Ford films and other artifacts. The mountain surrounding Goulding's Lodge looked as if someone had carved an Indian's face with head dress. We also enjoyed the jeep tour... More
