We went on a 2 1/2 hour horseback riding tour. It's the best (and only) way to see the sights off the main, drivable road. And when we were there the road was closed to visitors, so having a tour booked was the only way to see anything other than from the visitor's center. Highly recommend!

This was our first time horse back riding, so we came into this with absolutely NO experience. There was some confusion in the parking lot near the visitor center about whether we had paid or not (we had), but once that was straightened out, they gave us a map to where we needed to drive to meet up with our... You have to watch closely and ask information at the information center of this park. There they told us to look for a grey jeep whit the name 'Black's' on the side. And yes, he was on the parking lot.... but watch closely, their are many others in and round the ticketboot. He asked for an advance pay ... so... More

A couple of months ago we booked a horse riding tour with Blacks based on the positive TripAdvisor reviews. Turned up at the meeting point at 8am as directed and waited...and waited. The other tour guides from different companies said Blacks were often late but by 8.30 we were getting concerned. We rang both contact numbers we had and left... More

I want to commend Black’s tours for a most wonderful experience! We booked the three hour horse tour with Hogan stay. We flew into Phoenix and drove to the Navajo Tribal Park. I had received an email confirmation of our stay when I booked the visit in June. The email included all the details we needed to know about our... More

We did two tours with Black's - a 3 hour 4wd trip on 1 day and a horse ride on the 2nd - and as a result were able to negotiate a better price. Our 4wd Navajo guide Ted really started to started to wake up when we enter the guide only areas. Needless to say getting up & personal... More

Hello, I am really sorry to say it, but we had a terrible experience with "Black's Hiking, Jeep Tours and Trail Rides", even the worst one during our trip in the USA. We booked online a horse trip for 2 people the 23rd of June ==> 132$ When booking, you can't choose for a specific time. It's written they will... More

We visited monument valley and booked an hour's ride and were told to be at the shack for 2 pm the next day (I have the ticket as proof), beware of this as at the time of booking no-one told us to be there half an hour before this. We paid 20 dollars deposit, turned up the next day to... More

This was one our family's highlights on our 3 week road trip. We were escorted on our jeep tour by Natasha a native Navajo who drove us around some spectacular sights, showed us petroglyphs, and shared some history and folklore. Friendly, well organised company and a great way to see stunning scenery.

5 of us including 3 kids, 11, 10, 7 and zero horse-riding skill between us and maybe 1-2 gentle rides each of experience each. Reuben Gillis was out guide for the approx. 2 hour experience. Total no fuss place. They got us 5 horses (mine was a tad short as I'm 6'2'' but it was a good thing given my... More
