My parents took the horse riding tour and I had a private jeep tour and we all say that the it was the best way to see Monument Valley. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and very keen to impress. I would highly recommend.

We did a private sunrise tour with JT and found him to be a truly great guide - striking just the right balance between proposing things and listening to what we wanted to do. We spent 2 hours watching the first rays of light in this incredible place and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!

I don't think I have ever had a stronger reaction to anything so seemingly trivial in my entire life. The horseback tour was unlike everything I have ever done before. The two lovely Navajo gentlemen who escorted us were excellent riders and raced us across the planes. It was the most surreal thing I have ever done. The beautiful views,...

We showed up in Monument Valley in our Jaguar convertible and quickly concluded that we could not self guide the monuments of the park. There are many options for guided tours but most of them seemed to involve larger parties. So we chose Sacred Monument because they allowed us to design our own trip--time, vehicle, pickup location, preference for spending...

We did a two hour horseback tour and the three hour sunset jeep tour with Jimerson Tsosie. I cannot put into words the experience we had in the valley. JT is an outstanding guide. He shared so much of himself with us; his heritage, music, and the Navajo culture. By the end of the day, my husband and I felt...

My wife and I have been wanting to visit Monument Valley since we were children. We were somewhat aware of the many monuments from all the John Wayne movies. We wanted to learn more and booked a tour with Sacred Monuments Tours, just because of the name, and, we would get a Native American as a tour guide.
Our tour...

My daughter (11) wanted to go riding horses. We did the 1 1/2 hour ride for $78 each. We spent a week in the area including Grand Canyon and Mesa Verde and the horses ranked 1st with my daughter. Great guide and super horses given it had been 2 years since I had been on one. The horses knew where...

Tito was our guide and he was wonderful. Answered all of our questions and told us so much more that we would not have known had we tried touring by ourselves or with a large tour group. We did the jeep tour. A splurge but beautiful and well worth it. Made me appreciate the Valley even more.

We had planned our 8 day leasure tour of northern Arizona months in advance. However, we decided to include Monument Valley only 2 weeks prior to the start of our vacation. As it turned out - it was the highlight and most unforgetable part of our trip. My wife and I, (ages 61 & 54) decided on a 2-part tour,...
