I'm a woman alone and the first time at monument valley. I took the gouldings sunset tour the frist night and was very disappointed we didn't even see the sunset or the weaving. The guide was very inpersonnel and not very informative. it felt like cattle being herded. I had book a individual sunrise tour with scared way ahead for... More

Booked Sacred Monument Tours through email for the whole day (double tour - Monument Valley by morning and Mystery Valley by afternoon) to show my partner and I the area and explain Navajo culture. Leroy was our guide by morning and Darrin in the afternoon. Both were highly knowledgeable, answered our questions freely and were extremely friendly. They knew their... More

we arrived fairly early in the day and signed up for the tour - concerned about my shortness and ability to get in and out of the vehicle - our tour guide, Ray, was great making sure I could. Ray, Navajo, was very knowledgable of the area and told many facts about the area. we were able to not only... More

There are some mixed reviews about JT. Ignore them! My wife treated me to one of the most incredible experiences of my life - a personal Monument Valley tour, just JT and I. We explored the floor and back country for hours, went off-roading in his rad yellow Jeep, and checked out all the best views with hardly anyone around.... More

Excellent tour led by Will Cowboy. Lots of photo opportunities. Loads of navajo info and stories. Tours individually designed. And Wills singing too!

After completing a sunset tour the night before with another company to Mystery Valley which, other than the stormy weather, was a great experience, my wife and I were looking forward to our 3hr/2hr combination back country and horse tour with Sacred Monument Tours the following morning. Our choice for this company was made from good reviews on tripadvisor so... More

We took a 3 hour sun set jeep tour with Sacred Monument Tours with Byron. Not only did he show us many sights but he also played the drums and flute for us. The views were spectacular, the drive was exciting....we even were in the middle of a dust storm. We took a lot of great photos and Byron even... More

THREE absolute MUST's - 1. Get to the Visitors Centre at Monument Valley in time for first light and a sunrise that has got to be seen to be believed. 2. Do the 2 hour horseride into the valley. Experience is not necessary. 3. Do the 3 hour jeep ride into the valley. We were there for the sunrise then... More

Its difficult to express the sheer wonder of a 4 hour-tour by yellow jeep. From start to finish the driver, Will Cowboy, gave us an insight into the Navajo culture and went further than the standard 14 mile drive. The jeep dealt well with the rugged terrain, unlike some private (or rental) car drivers. Will provides a commentary throughout the... More
