We did a 3 hour tour with back country included. Anyone can drive the front part but the special places are only with a guide. Comfortable vehicle, water & a great guide Felix. He answered all our questions. Told us great stories. Taught us some Navaho language & played his lute in a gorgeous natural bowl theatre. Parked the open... More

We did a sunrise and a sunset tour with John. I chose this company because of a combination of their great reviews, fair prices, and the promptness/friendliness of the owner when I emailed with questions. John was right on time for both tours and had hot coffee and tea for the sunrise tour, which was greatly appreciated. There was plenty... More

Reserved a 3 hour backcountry tour for my family of six for April 7th. Our four kids (12-17) didn't know what to expect and quite honestly I don't think they were too excited. However, our guide Quanah was great and it turned out to be the kid's favorite activity of Spring Break. Quanah made the tour. He provided great background... More

It was truly magnificant!!! John was our guide. We were celebrating our 10 yr anniversary in the valley. We took the combo tour. John was fantastic at sharing his story, the story of Monument Valley & Mystery Valley. He knew so many interesting stories and history. He made sure we saw all the features. Even ones I couldn't physically get... More

John was our guide, and met us at The View Hotel. In the open jeep we toured the public and Navajo back roads. He knew every movie location in the park and was great at encouraging our imaginations when looking at the rocks. "What do you see there?" The Big Hogan was the most beautiful spot...very spiritual. I felt transported.... More

Our group of 4 had a memorable day touring with Hope in the morning and John in the late afternoon. Taking a guided tour is the only way to see Monument and Mystery Valleys. The guides offer so much background information that without them you would miss so much. Both Hope and John were incredibly knowledgeable and were also able... More

We booked a tour with Vincent the Holy Man - and it was just an amazing experience. He drove us down through the valley, told us stories and shared the spiritual importance of the place to the Navajos. At one point below a huge rock wall he pulled out his little drum and did a small "drum-and-sing" session for us,... More

We did a tour recently with Quannah as our guide and we had a great day. We ended up doing 3 tours in one day - sunrise, teardrop arch and mystery valley tour. Quannah was very friendly and happy to share information about his life and it was also great to hear the stories and history of the area. He... More

Out the front of the Visitors centre of the View hotel we walked down to the tour operators. We were greeted by John, and our 3hr tour was booked for 1pm through Mystery Valley. Payment was easily done by credit card. Our tour can only be described as a spiritual and ancient journey back in time! Our guide John answered... More

We booked an all day private tour, in an enclosed vehicle, with the three of us being a mix of photigrapher and traveller. Quannah picked us up at 6am, and took us to a totally deserted area for the wonderful sunrise, and from there to many sites throughout the valley for five hours. In one location he brought a flute,... More
