Went with Duffy and Clifford on the Hunt's Mesa overnight photography tour. Both knew the area well and were a wealth of information. Very knowledgable and professional. Will definitely plan another trip with them. Highly recommended for anyone considering a guided tour through Monument Valley.

There is only one way to see the Navajo Tribal Monument Park and that is by taking the Safari. There are many groups to choose from, but ours was through Monument Valley Safari. www.monumentvalleysafari.com You could use your own vehicle, but that's not advisable. The road is extremely rough. Taking a rental four-wheeler, is at risk also. Besides, reaching the... More

Great tour company. Clint was our guide for the 3 and half hour tour and he was fantastic!! He really knows his stuff!! We live in AZ and this one of the very best guided tours we have had concerning the culture and history of AZ!! He knew where to tell us to take pictures and we are very interested... More

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and we knew we wanted to get a tour of Mystery Valley during our stay at Monument Valley. Our guide was named Clifford and he was excellent. While he drove us around he explained what we were seeing and what it meant in Navajo culture. I can't say enough about how good... More

At Charlenes' suggestion,we waited a full day for a dust storm to blow itself out, we had a memorable tour thru the Valley. Our guide Lawrence /AKA John Wayne, was wonderful, funny & most accommodating ,since we both wanted to take pictures around almost every turn..we agree with other folks who are glad of the tours so that we didn't have to... We took a private photo sunset tour and our Guide was Clint. The incremental cost for a private tour was very reasonable and if you are a photographer this is the only way to really capture the essence of the valley. Clint guidance was amazing. Not only did he know where to go in the valley depending on lighting conditions,... More

PROS: 1. Quite a rough road, and I was happy to let someone else's vehicle take the beating. 2. Access to roads and areas within the valley that are otherwise restricted 3. On time, departure and arrival CONS: 1. Our driver texted and drove. Repeatedly! In retrospect I am amazed that I didn't say something about this. There is virtually... More

Spent a very interesting afternoon tour with Bobby and his sister Tya travelling around the Valley to the well known viewsights but also to the restricted Navajo area as well. We were treated to a performance of music and singing by our guides at one of the view sights which together with the very knowledgeable brother and sister guides made... More

Our sunrise tour by Clint was awesome for best photo shoots. His sharing of Navajo culture and history made the tour very memorable.

We decided to drive up to Monument Valley as part of a long weekend. Since we did not know anything about the area, we stopped at the Navajo Welcome Center and decided to take the 3.5 hour tour. The people at the center were wonderful. Duffy Holiday greeted us there as our tour guide - the karma proved to be... More
