Monument Valley Navaho Nation Park is a must see for any traveler. Along with three other gals, we were fortunate to spend two private tours with a tour company congenial with our requests. MV Safari provided one of their best guides for the area. Our tour guide, Clint, was a delightful man not only knowledgeable about his culture but with... More

We visited Monument Valley in the middle of a ten-day trip beginning at Zion National Park and ending in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We didn't have specific plans for Monument Valley and stumbled on Monument Valley Safari. We decided to take their extended 3-hour tour which took us beyond the standard tour that any automobile can take. It was fantastic!... More

We visited Monument Valley last August. The valley was really breathtaking and Lawrence, our guide, made it even more amazing. He showed us special places all around the valley (even where you are not allowed to go with your own vehicle) and told us a lot of interesting stuff about the land and the Navajo people. Definitely worth every penny.

We camped overnight with Duffy as our tour guy, not only was his driving on rough terrain awesome (he got us safely through the wash after some heavy rain the previous day), but he cooks a great steak on the campfire!! Duffy's knowledge of the land and the people makes the experience very special and we have never seen so... More

My husband and I enjoyed a tour of Monument Valley with Duffy from Monument Valley Holiday Safari/Private Jeep Tours. Duffy shared his knowledge of the valley and much about his Navajo culture and history. He was a great guide! I would recommend Duffy.

I'd been looking forward to this tour and i learnt so much, more than what i realised i would as it was very educational in regards to the films Monument Valley has been featured in and the Navajo Peoples history in the area! Thank you to Derek for being an awesome host!

My husband and I began a one-week road trip of the Southwest by visiting Monument Valley on 8/21/14. We were extremely lucky to have selected Monument Valley Safari to handle our sightseeing tour. I can't emphasize enough the importance of having a native tour guide who has the cultural background and expertise to navigate the area. Bobby Atene was both... More

First, you MUST take a tour. Don't attempt to drive the Valley yourself. I would be terrified driving myself on those roads... and normal vehicles are not equipped to drive them. I chose this company based on the many great reviews on TA, and it was right on target. We were met right on time in the hotel lobby by... More

We took the 3.5 hour tour with Duffy Holiday as our guide. The views were amazing and Duffy made frequent stops along the way to allow us to take pictures and to share his knowledge of the history and lore associated with the area. He is a very likeable and well-spoken guide. He is also very talented and played the... More
