Our overnight trip to Hunt's Mesa was, to say the least, incredible and magnificent. Duffy, our Navajo guide, expertly maneuvered a big Chevy Suburban over rocks and thru sand to get to the mesa, overlooking Monument Valley. We had a scenic campsite, where we shot beautiful sunset photos. Duffy is not only a guide, but a great campfire cook. His... More

Do not miss this trip. We hired Monument Valley Safari to take us through this natural wonder, and boy, were we glad! Duffy Holiday, a very informed Navajo man, took us for a 3 1/2 hour trip in his AIR CONDITIONED, ENCLOSED, SPECIALLY BUILT FOR OFF-ROADING, Chevy Suburban. We were worried about our ability to cope with the intense heat... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Arizona and Utah. Our family enjoyed the tour of Monument Valley more than visiting the Grand Canyon. Duffy was an awesome tour guide and great flute player!

We did this tour as part of our visit to Monument Valley. We were excited to see and learn about the Navajo. Our tour guide was a 40 something Navajo woman. She was very nice but was not a great tour guide. She told us many stories about how the Navajo in the reservation live, but some of it was... More

Had a perfect experience. Our guide, Clint, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He had great insights into the history of monument valley and Navajo culture. Beyond that, Clint helped me frame my pictures so I could get truly once in a lifetime photos. Many people think my photos were taken by a professional thanks to his advice and assistance!

Everything from booking the tour to being dropped off at the View Lodge was a great experience. Even though we booked the 2.5 hour tour, our very pleasant guide never made up feel rushed and we ending up being with him over 3 hours to enjoy a beautiful sunset! Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He offered photo tips... More

I had been to the area before but did not appreciate it until I took this tour our guide Mathew was excellent I would recommend the Suburban rather than the open truck. Excellent tour and well worth the money Do not take the self guided tour it is brutal on your vehickle The guided 3.5 hour tour is excellent

Two of us met our Navajo Guide at 3:30 AM at the View Hotel for a chance to take star-studded photos against the monuments. It was an ugly hour, but Clint, our guide took us to some great areas and placed us so we had an opportunity to get some amazing shots! We had tripods--a must--and we were very comfortable... More

Prior to our departure Nate helped design the appropriate tour based on our desire to learn more about the Navajo culture, get off the beaten trail and take pictures. We had the fortune of being guided by Nelson in a pristine clean Suburban all to ourselves. He is truly a Navajo elder who related stories from his childhood to the present.... More

I had pre-booked our 2.5 hour Lower Monument Valley tour by phone, but apparently the young lad I spoke with misplaced our reservation. Fortunately, they scrambled and sent out a guide and vehicle (closed Suburban, as originally requested), and we were on our way only a little later than planned. You could do the public part of the drive in... More
