Today has been brilliant! Our tour guide Lonnie was great! He took us to all the big sites and also the places you have to be on a tour to see! He sang a Native Navajo song about safe journeys and travelling. He made the trip personal and answered all our questions not just about the rocks but also about... More

Don't waste your time with any other jeep tour while in Monument Valley. We took the cultural 3 hr. tour with Duffy as our guide. He was so informative and explained all about the Navajo people and their connection to this sacred valley. He answered all our questions and was full of stories and information about the rocks, trees and... More

We did the 6 hour tour split into 2 segments, 3 hours in the early morning (we saw the sun rise) and 3 hours in the evening. We could have done more, every turn there was something new and beautiful to see. And Duffy our Navajo guide was so interesting and entertaining with his stories of the people, culture, history,... Our family of 3 went on a late afternoon trip with Clifford. It was fantastic. He sang for us, told personal anecdotes and explained the history of the Navajo and Monument Valley. Having him to ourselves was great even if he probably thought we were a bunch of quiet Kiwis. I highly recommend this tour.

Yesterday, we went on a 6 hour safari with Duffy as our guide, and we had an incredible time. In the morning, we took the 3 hour sunrise tour of the lower Monument Valley. Duffy met us promptly at 5am, and drove us to a great spot to photograph the sun rising over the monuments. It was a bit cloudy,... More

My family booked a 2.5 hour Scenic & Cultural (sunset) Safari into Lower Monument Valley. What an amazing experience. It is such a beautiful and serene place. Lonnie did an amazing job explaining the rocks, the history and the culture of the Navajo people. Thank you Lonnie! I truly enjoyed the "out back" and being away from all the crowds.... More

We were travelling the west cost of the USA and I was a bit dubious about going to Monument Valley as I was not a great fan of western movies. Turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. The scenery is truly spectacular and the colours change as the sun moves. Bobby, our guide, was great.... More

We went out with the company ' Monument Valley Safari' with a Navajo driver and guide, Clifford. The was a 3 hour trip in an open truck which we booked at one of the booths by the Visitor Centre and it cost $170 for two of us. Monument Valley is one of the great landscape spectacles in the world so... More

We planned a tour and one night stop in Monument Valley between our visit to the Grand Canyon and Moab. I wasn't sure if our children, ages 19,14 & 11, would appreciate the scenery, and the references to John Wayne. I was very pleasantly surprised by our tour, and the level of engagement my children had in the experience. We... More

Booked a 3 1/2 hour private tour of Monument Valley - Our Guide, Clyde was absolutely awesome and very informative! With several stops, Clyde told us about the Navajo culture and traditions, also informing us about the different monuments and their significance (tribal, movie/music/tv show filming), along with a tour of the back country including a visit to a private...
