We had Byron our guide for the Monument Valley during the morning, and Mystery Valley in the afternoon. It was an exceptionally fulfilling, fascinating and splendid day. Byron shared Navajo lore, lifestyle and cultural stories, and expertly maneuvered in the Jeep Wrangler over the tracks in both valleys. He was very helpful and accommodating, especially with photo locations and tips.... More

Our guide was a bit vague. Felt a bit like a crowded safari in that we were following endless trucks around, and too many stalls selling the same jewellry

"Spirit" is taking the description a little far, but the tour was worth it, even though we were at the back of a stuffed old van and it cost USD95 each.

This is the third experience I've had with the Navajo and all exceeded expectations. Harry was great, not only in giving us the grand tour of Mystery Valley, but also in imparting his wealth of information on Navajo tradition and facts. Highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in ancient aboriginal living as you will see artifacts (1500... More

Excellent!!! Guides are the best in their knowledge of Monument Valley and the history, traditions and legends of the Navajo Nation. Our guide was Don Mose and we were also able to talk to his grandson who was making up his mind about his college education. Great people, great Nation. I agree 200% with Fridaywalker, but our tours were different.... More

Our tour guide was amazing. You are here to see the different monuments and how the Navajo live off the natural land. Have comfy shoes and be prepared to use the out house for when nature calls. That was the downside. It was pretty high up so we propped some stones on the ground go give us height, I'm 5'6,... More

We went on an overnight camping trip to Hunts Mesa with Will and his nephew and had the most amazing life affirming experience! We were picked up in the lobby of the View and driven on the mining "road" over rocks, up the escarpment on a death defying trip to the campsite. We arrive late afternoon to the most beautiful... Three and a half hours flew by as our Navajo guide, Willy Cowboy expertly navigated the snowy terrain as he shared his nation's culture with us. We came away feeling richer for the experience and with a much deeper respect, and understanding of the Dine (accent over the e so it's pronounced Di (short vowel i sound) - nay. He... More

Breathtaking scenery, which was topped off by the day tour we done. We completed the Monument Valley tour (AM) and Tear DropArch Tour ( Afternoon) and both were excellent. In the afternoon, we were on a private tour (wasn't booked as such but that's what we got) with Don, who was so attentive with historical knowledge that as second to... More
