Three and a half hours flew by as our Navajo guide, Willy Cowboy expertly navigated the snowy terrain as he shared his nation's culture with us. We came away feeling richer for the experience and with a much deeper respect, and understanding of the Dine (accent over the e so it's pronounced Di (short vowel i sound) - nay. He... More

Breathtaking scenery, which was topped off by the day tour we done. We completed the Monument Valley tour (AM) and Tear DropArch Tour ( Afternoon) and both were excellent. In the afternoon, we were on a private tour (wasn't booked as such but that's what we got) with Don, who was so attentive with historical knowledge that as second to... More

I have not done the "drive yourself" tour, but I cannot see why you wouldn't do the guided tour. Our request for an enclosed vehicle was granted and by the looks of the dusty rides in the open trucks, it was a good choice. We did the sunset tour in a GMC Yukon and it was just the two of... More

We only had one afternoon in MV and had booked the sunset tour of 2.5 hours with Harry. Harry was punctual, pleasant and informative about the valley and Navajo culture. He took us off the beaten track to see some less visited sites. The vehicle was uncomfortable and old. It wasn't easy for older passengers to enter or exit. Harry... More

Monument Valley is a lovely place however one thing we all agree on is the fact that the roads are rough. We have one older model vehicle which is quite comfortable but I agree they can be difficult to maneuver in and out of. All of our vehicles no matter which year they were made are the same. The vehicles... More

We (me, my wife, and my parents) did the monument valley 2.5 hours tour in May 2014 and it was an amazing experience--thanks to our guide Don Mose. He was very kind and considerate. But more importantly, he had a deep love of the Navajo culture and his knowledge, passion, and wisdom allowed him to show the charm of the... More

I booked with this company after looking at a lot of reviews of different companies online and boy was it the right choice! Our tour guide actually view up in the valley and knew everything and everyone there! We did the half day trip and I wish now we had allowed time to do the full day. I won't spoil... More

We did a morning tour with Will and had a great time. We know that we missed out of some bits of the tour such as the Hogan and the yarn spinning but we had asked the company in advance to tailor the tour to keep our kids (aged 6 and 4) entertained. Will did an amazing job and both... More

This company does a first class job ! We had driven the 17 mile loop on our own and wondered if we had made a mistake booking the tour with Navajo Spirit Tours...we told our guide, Sean, what we had covered and left it to him to take us around...we took the 3:00 Sunset Tour..the day was cloudy and I... My wife and I booked an all day tour - morning was Monument Valley, afternoon Mystery Valley. Our tour guide name was Will. The morning tour was good, although I was disappointed that we stopped at spots on the Loop Road that I can visit on my own. I'd rather see areas that I'm not allowed to go to without... More

We had a pretty good choice for tour guides of Monument Valley but something on the website for Navajo Spirit Tours caught my eye. All of the tours have Navajo guides, but Don made this tour unforgettable. His knowledge of the area and history of the Navajo made this tour come alive for me. From his drawing in the sand... More
