You don't have to do the Monument Valley drive with a tour company. You can wrestle your family saloon/rental car up & down hills and across rocks & sand like we saw many people doing but it didn't look like much fun and some places simply aren't reachable in anything but a 4-wheel drive. So if you are going to... More

The Grand Tour takes approx. 3 hours and brings you to the hidden corners of Monument Valley. Our guide told us a lot of old Navajo Legends and showed us some amazing places. It is not the cheapest adventure, but it is worth of every penny!

We went on the full day tour with Harry. He took us to Mystery Valley in the morning and Monument Valley in the afternoon. I liked Mystery Valley best but they were both good tours. He gave us great instruction to obtain the best pictures. His stories were very good and I really liked when he played the recorder (flute).... More

We did the Navajo Spirit Tours sunrise tour with Don as our guide. It was all we hoped for. Monument Valley is a very special place and Don was wonderful to share his culture and the history and beauty of the Valley. Every interaction prior to our arrival was handled professionally and questions answered promptly and courteously. I highly recommend!

We chose Navaho Spirit Tours because it was rated highly on TA. We did a full day tour starting with the Back Country tour in the morning and then the Mystery Valley Tour in the afternoon. Don was our guide. He dressed the part of a Navaho guide appearing in professional attire. He provided many ideas for photographs and a... More

I have to say I good goose bumps when I first saw the Monuments (John Wayne Movies) in the valley. It brougth back many memories of watching cowboy movies wwith my Dad. I di not think it could get any better but was wrong. We met Larson from Navajo Spirit Tours and while waitng for the jeep he informed us... More

We went places that we would never had seen without our guide. In as much as he had experience in taking photos I'm not sure he was technically trained but at least he appeared to have a passion for photography. He gave us a few pointers and led us to spectacular shots. But remember that you really need a great... More

We did the all day tour of Monument Valley on 7/23/15 with Navajo Spirit Tours. Our guide for the entire day was Don, who is very informative, caring, considerate and very friendly. Aside from the spectacular sites, thrilling bumpy ride, we learned a lot about Navajo culture and the mystery of it. The afternoon tour was very exciting, Don took... More

Really enjoyed the tour, had a rental car so wouldn't have dared chance the loop road (seen quite a few badly damaged cars) and this tour takes you into the back country which was a highlight. The guide knew his stuff and was really friendly. Got some fantastic photos.

Went on the 3pm tour with Will Cowboy. Traveled on the open air truck. Great scenery with expert commentary with Will. This is the only tour to go on. Wouldn't advise you try and do it in your car!
