Waited an hour to get on the course because of frost, understood that. But their were two four groups so 8 golfers ahead of us. It was not until the group behind us called the course did the marshal move it along quicker.

I'm a lifelong Swiss Days fan and go most every year on Labor Day weekend. After several years of hearing about the Annual Sheepdog Competition also in Midway, Utah we desided to check it out. This was great dispite the weather. A little sprinkle didn't seem to deter many. The many events were spead over an area not too big... More

What a fun ride and really quite close to Heber and Midway. Stop at the train tracks and take in the Deer Lake views as wells as birds and deer.

This isn't what one typically thinks of in regards to Soldier Hollow but we attended a great Native American Pow Wow. They said it was one of the largest Pow Wow's in the nation. Solder Summit was a great location. The weather was cool. They offered free camping. There were restrooms and showers in the lodge. The Pow Wow was... More

Five years ago, I would've given this activity a much better rating. We've been going tubing at Soldier Hollow most years during our Christmas visit to the area for quite awhile. It used to be super fun! But the last few times we've gone, the lines have been so bad that we got a lot, lot fewer turns down the... More

Had a great time on the tubing hill with kids ranging from 4 years old to 21. Don't go late in the season as the warmer weather makes the hills so slow that you have to push yourself down the hill.

Sometimes at a recreation site one can be a little nervous and intimidated. Especially if the activity is new, or involves new procedures. We were a little like that doing the simple things like loading up for the tow, and getting off, and getting in line and getting started-- at each step, the staff were fun and friendly and seemed... We came to Soldier Hollow in December to snowshoe and this weekend to go tubing. Soldier Hollow is beautiful, and it was fun to snowshoe on the same track as the 2002 winter Olympic cross country skiers! Tubing here is a blast! However, this weekend was unseasonable warm and the snow was very slushy. We weren't able to get down... More

They would absolutley not consider a refund. Before scheduling make certain you will be able to go at your scheduled time. We scheduled to go tubing as a large extended family on March 1st. When we scheduled they said we would need to pre-pay in order to hold the slots open for our family of about 20 people. They indicated... More

I think Soldier Hollow has one of the best views in Wasatch County. Tubing was really fun and staff there was really friendly. Knowing that some parts of 2002 Olympics was held here made the place more beautiful. Nothing too special you can some here snowshoe, cross country ski and tube and later you can relax at the lodge by... More
