Beautiful sites, especially as the leaves are turning. Many trails to choose from if varying difficulty. Also saw several wild turkey. Only downer was the usage fee. $7 per car seemed a touch steep compared to other areas.

We went up the road Sundance just to check out Timpanogos Trail and stumbled across a glorious Alpine forest right out of a nature photographer's dream. Absolutely stunning fall foliage, great campgrounds, great hiking trails- so much to do! The mountain roads above Sundance are very twisty and narrow so expect some tight passes with cars coming down the same... More

Wasatch State Park is a little different than most state or national parks. mostly due to the fact that it has four golf courses on it and it has Soldier Hollow, one of the venues for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Some of the other attractions it has is hiking and mountain biking trails along with OHV Roads and trails. The... More

We went to Wasatch State Park to spend some time hiking. The volunteer at the visitors center was friendly and helpful. We hiked the Visitor's Center Loop. It was a couple hour hike. An average hiker in decent condition can handle this hike with ease.

We spent the better part of a day in this park. We were day use folks. Hiked several of the trails in the morning. We chose the 'green' and 'purple' trails. Those are for less strenuous hikers. That would fit us. We enjoyed the visitors' center loop trails and the Spring Pond trails. At the top, there is a beautiful... More

Normally my family only camps primitive but a few times a year we go for the campground full hookup thing. This is a decent place but certainly older, I think its fair to say the campground way laid out in the days when rigs were smaller and they all had hookups in the back. I have a 34 foot toy... More

We played the Mountain Course as part of a mountain golf trip through Colorado and Utah. Evaluating this course is diffidult due to the tedious pace of play. The course was in good condition, has varied holes with narrow and wide fairways, up and downhill elevation changes, and is very scenic. If playing there, do take advantage of the sunscreen/bug... The public golf course is well maintained, greens are challenging yet fair and playing in a canyon provides great views. Play can be slow. We think the fall is when the course is at its best and has less play.

Beautiful course, even this early in the year. The mountain course was in good shape. Two golfers, 18 holes, plus cart and rented clubs for right around $100. Good deal. Even saw a flock of wild turkeys!

I always love Wasatch State Park. There is always something to see no matter the time of year. The camp grounds are good in the summer, and lots of places to snowshoe in the winter.
