Great for families! There are so many things to do and see here that it's hard to know where to begin. Museums, theaters, flower gardens, definitely something for everyone.

My wife and I went to Thanksgiving point museum for a day out. It was easy to find, and we thought well worth the cost. We only visited the Museum of Ancient Life. It has tons of things to look at, and has lots to do for kids of all ages. I found this to be one of the best organized,... More

We were in Utah for a visit with family, and we went to Thanksgiving point. There were 11 of us from age 8 all the way to the 60's. It was a blast for all. We did the ropes course which was a great challenge! We enjoyed everything this place had to offer we even drove through the Christmas lights... More

This is easily my favorite place in the Salt Lake area. We go about twice a month. Always great activities and events in addition to the 4 main facilities. We love every venue. Yes, it's pricey but well worth it and if you have kids, I highly recommend a membership because you can't see it all in 1 day.

I stayed night at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi UT and was told of the Harvest Restaurant. The food and service was excellent. Thanks to Brendon my server I had a very good meal. The hanger steak he recommended was excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant for anyone who wants a great meal in a quiet family setting.

Thanksgiving point is one of my favorite places in the world. I actually live close by and visit it often. There are now two world class museums for children.( My teens love them too. )A dinosaur museum with a fun sandy place to look for bones at the end,and a children's discovery museum. It has a climbing/slide area and also a... Our first visit was to the Dinosaur museum, where there are multiple hands on places for kids to dig, create, try on costumes and use technology to learn about dinosaurs, paleontology, and careers connected to this interest. BUT then - there is the farm, with live animals, wagon rides, and the market. The newest huge building is the Museum of... More

I'm not sure why there isn't a separate listing for the different museums at Thanksgiving Point, but I would like to direct this review to the Museum of Ancient Life. It has a very appealing layout and is easy to navigate. It is very clean and the exhibits are well marked. The children loved the sand and water feature, the... More

The Museum of Ancient Life collection of dinosaur exhibits- some real fossils, some cast but I couldn't tell the difference- is a must see. They fill a number of rooms and all have interesting information about the specific object exhibited. While the big, nasty dinosaur bones were fun to see I enjoyed also the rooms with prehistoric sea and flying... More
