This is a great drive which starts about half hour east of Park City. After a narrow valley the road ascends and there are beautiful views of Mirror Lake, other dozen smaller lakes and forest, until Bold Mountain Pass. From there there is a great five hours almost a loop hike.

It's a long drive up the canyon. There are only a couple of pull outs that provide good views of the surrounding mountains. Once you get to the lake it's very pretty. Even with the number of campers and visitors it was enjoyable. The walk around the lake at a liesurely pace only took an hour. DON'T miss the waterfall... More

Absolutely one of the most beautiful drives I have been on. Very scenic and colorful, about 50 shades of green at each turn. The photo stop at Provo Falls was great! Nice drive up to the pass of Bald Mountain. Then the 2 mile hike up to the summit was spectacular. 8 lakes to the north and another 8 lakes... More

My family loves to camp, drive, fish, hike, or just be anywhere along the Mirror Lake Highway! We most recently spent the day at Mirror Lake. The trail around the lake is well kept and easy for even our youngest member to walk. There were lots of people at the lake, but it did not feel crowded.

Will be a forever memorable drive. Even better than Mirror Lake at the top are the Provo River Falls which are a must see on the way up.

We drove to Kamas from Park City and the drive alone is spectacular. Mirror lake is one of the most beautiful in the area. However, I must say the entire area is breathtaking. Easy to difficult hikes.

We drove from Kamas up to Mirror Lake for a day's hike. It was a beautiful mountain lake, which we walked around. Many people were fishing from shore, catching stocked Rainbow Trout. Others were fishing in small boats or canoes. We stopped to chat with many fishermen, who were having good luck. On the way down the mountain pass we... More

Gorgeous, well paved scenic byway between Kamas, UT and Evanston, WY. Plenty of camping areas and hiking paths. Lots of pine and quaking aspens.

The scenic byway is absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend taking the time to drive this highway. We visited in late May and were unexpectedly met with several feet of snow covering the forest. The road was plowed nicely, the views were beautiful, and the trip was well worth the drive out to Wasatch National Forest.
