The Mirror Lake Scenic Byway is a great one day trip from SLC and back. Head up to Park City and then to Kamas. The drive up into the Unitas and then down to Evanston and back to SLC. Plenty of places to stop along the way.

The drive on this road during the fall is spectacular. The falls colors and the perfect fall weather makes this a must do drive. The scenery is very breathe taking. I recommend doing it in September through October.

We took the drive from Park City, UT on a clear beautiful day. The drive includes a very scenic drive to high elevation through forests and mountains culminating in our arrival at Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake was created by Glacial action thousands of years ago. Blue water, blue skies and Forest magically transform this scene to one of peaceful repose.... More

One of the most beautiful drives ever! Plan at least four hours round trip from Park City; you will wind up in Wyoming and connect to I-80 and make a big circle. Make sure you have a full tank of gas- last chance is in Kamas. Many scenic pull offs for pictures. Mirror Lake is very pretty and there are... More

Don't even think about coming up here during the summer weekends if you don't like crowds. Mirror Lake is a madhouse with no parking and there's no camping sites left at all. However, during the week this place is a mountain paradise. I actually prefer camping at Moosehorn lake - you can camp right on the shore and it's quieter... More

There is hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and so many other activities to be enjoyed along this high Uintas scenic drive between Kamas Utah and Evanston Wyoming. Beautiful high glacier lakes and mountain streams along with the stunning mountain scenery. Absolutely a must see.

This is a great drive which starts about half hour east of Park City. After a narrow valley the road ascends and there are beautiful views of Mirror Lake, other dozen smaller lakes and forest, until Bold Mountain Pass. From there there is a great five hours almost a loop hike.

It's a long drive up the canyon. There are only a couple of pull outs that provide good views of the surrounding mountains. Once you get to the lake it's very pretty. Even with the number of campers and visitors it was enjoyable. The walk around the lake at a liesurely pace only took an hour. DON'T miss the waterfall... More
