An outstanding 'professional' production of the Wizard of Oz, in a setting unlike any other I have personally seen or been to, results in one (1) of the most amazing experiences our family has been a part of. The Tuacahn Theater is easy to get to, the employees we encountered were all helpful and knowledgeable, and like I already mentioned,... More

During our vacation to St. George, UT, my wife booked an evening at Tuacahn, including pre-show dinner & performance of The Wizard of Oz. When we pulled in the sign said "an arts specialty high school." I didn't know what to expect. I was BLOWN AWAY by the performance. Beautiful setting, backdrop & amphitheater. First rate production, lighting, set &... More

Just saw The Wizard of Oz here and have been to many shows and concerts over the past five years. The theater is set against the backdrop of towering red rock canyon walls which gives you surroundings that are so beautiful and then generally high quality shows to go with it. The seating is very good most anywhere in the... More

This is one of the best theater experiences. The amphitheater is out in the desert red rocks, and the play was performed under beautiful desert skies. The actors were professional, the stage setting and technicals were amazing. We went to see the " Little Mermaid" which was perfect for young and old. Must be experienced to be believed how wonderful!

Saw the Little Mermaid July '14 First the backdrop to the stage, fantastic! Second the stage came alive with technical aspects. Third, the actors. Got to see them perform!! Fourth the ambience! Well worth the effort to get to St George and visit a show at the Tuacahn!

The only thing keeping this production from getting national attention is a few hundred thousand dollars to upgrade the aging facility. Top performers, top production values, spectacular energy and outstanding facility for what it is (a fine but aging outdoor amphitheater). Honestly, I expected an amateurish production. This was anything but. The engaging performances from everyone in the cast, the... More

Having never heard of this theater before, we were given great tickets to a show The Wizard of Oz, one evening. The play was wonderful, and all done on a stage , outside, with a back drop of the red rocks. Horses, trucks, lightning, fireworks, aerial entrances & wind were all the real thing!!! After raving to our host, we... More

We saw The Wizard of Oz on July Fourth. The show was a very professional production, and the amphitheater is beautiful. We got our tickets for half-price using a promotion code on FB page of Tuacahn Center for the Arts, so we sat in the front row for about thirty dollars each.

We saw "Wizard of Oz" here in July, 2014. Well worth the price and short drive from St. George to see a professional production in a unique setting. Food purveyors were polite and know how to move a crowd. This place appeals to both theatre snobs and families with children. Would love to visit again.

There is a spiritual quality to this setting. The productions are very professionally done, and I never fail to marvel at the plays which incorporate the stage's water feature. I won't say more for fear of needing a spoiler alert.
