I have lived here almost 20 years and the people are friendly, the atmosphere is pristine, and the scenery is indescribable. This valley has so much to offer, good outdoor activities, wonderful food, cool summer days and 4 golf courses. what more can one want!

To begin with the trip to Heber City is awesome! The canyon is beautiful and the mountains are magnificent! It is a small town with about anything you need, fast food joints, nicer restaurants, bars, stores, gas stations, drug stores, bakeries, parks, trains, fishing, close skiing, and (hate 'em or love 'em a Walmart). The town is clean and the... More

Spend a few days listening to clean, cowboy music and poetry. You will laugh, you will have tears, you can dress like a cowboy or cowgirl, or not. You can ride the train and be entertained the whole time. You can visit a mountain man camp and do some boot-scootin while you are there. There are lots of motels/hotels in... More

We now have a tandem oil truck passing through at least every 5 minutes. Semis parked blocking the view as you try to leave businesses and enter back on to the highway. Lights that do not allow time to do proper left turns. Chaos abundant entering and leaving the markets.

The Heber Creeper was a great train ride. We took the Provo Canyon train. Very relaxing with wonderful scenic views. Enjoyed the entertainment from the train robber to the country singing. I would have preferred a little more time at the park so my grandson could watch fisherman, but the train stayed on a tight schedule. We departed the station... More

Nothing is out of extraordinary but I have to say the entertainment during the train ride was surprise to me. They have bunch of elementary/middle schoolers saying in one of the train stops. I really enjoyed. I encouraged if you are in the area, try to take out of couple of hours ride along the river. It is refreshing especially... More

So much to do in the area. Two large reservoirs for water activities, the Heber Creeper for a great train ride, world class fly fishing, outstanding winter activities including cross country skiing at Solider Hallow, And several major ski and snowboard areas as close as 10 minutes. I really enjoyed hiking the area and siting by the Provo River.

Both Heber & Midway are beautiful towns, especially in the fresh fallen snow. We visited the Heber Valley Railroad and enjoyed a ride on the Heber Creeper. We had Aggie ice cream at the the Heber Valley Creamery. We then checked in to the Zermatt, a great place to stay. We had delicious Mexican food and loved the live music... More
