The price seems a bit high -- but the exhibits are good. Best are the penguins and the otters, and the shark tank walk through tunnel captures everyone's attention. The 4-D movie isn't really a 4-D experience. The seat vibrations and out-of-sync blasts of cold air and mist don't add anything and get annoying pretty quickly. The reef video was pretty... More

I recently attended the new aquarium and was amazed at how beautiful it was. There were several families with small children but the variety of exhibits kept them entertained and we could choose to linger longer. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. You must talk to the resident snake expert. He was so engaging and passionate about the work... More

We enjoyed our visit there last week. We especially enjoyed the movies in their theatre. We enjoyed the birds and the informative guides explaining the exhibits. The big walk through exhibit is nice. We have been to better ones in Vegas and Maui. There were a lot of children visiting and they were certainly enjoying themselves. Nice gift shop.

This aquarium has come a long way! In May when it opened (we have a season pass) it was a really poor excuse for an aquarium, (tons of empty tanks and exhibits that were not finished.) but over the last few months I have been pleasantly surprised that they have really pulled it together. It is a great place to... More

I understand this is new. However, didn't think there would be so little in the way of exhibits. We had a 5 and six year old. They loved the jungle rope bridge and the penguin exhibit. Did not appreciate at all that the play area cost extra on top of the expensive admission price. The reason we will NOT go... More

We visited the new aquarium in August. I'm glad we waited a couple of months because it sounds like they had some kinks to work out. The exhibit tanks are beautiful and there doesn't seem to be the crowding problem that they had at the old location. The penguin and otter enclosures are very well done and spacious. The new... More

We purchased an annual family pass before it opened. They had a grand opening for members but unfortunately less than half the exhibits were full. We've been since and it's great. The shark tank is a favorite, as are the penguins. The 4D theater is neat but only if your kids don't mind being sprayed in the face. Mine didn't,... More

Great, well designed exhibits. I loved the South America section with the free flying tanagers and cardinals, and the brightly colored and friendly toucans. I was impressed with how natural each aquarium and display looked. The shark tunnel was a little disappointing since there were no large sharks, but there was a nice collection of species represented. Every area we... More

I had been looking forward to visiting this aquarium since it moved to it's new location. The new building in very nice as are the new displays, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for what it is. We took our time and still were able to see everything within about 2 hours. That included a half hour waiting... More

This was a great aquarium. If they have space feed the penguins it's worth the extra $25. Only 10 people are allowed in and you get to interact with all the penguins. It's not for little kids they need to be able to sit still and be quiet. Gear way to beat the Utah heat.
