This is a nice aquarium but it was too crowded. I know that it is the type of place that will be full of little kids, but the day we went was awful. Parents and or teachers need to learn how to teach their children to wait their turn to see things. There was not one exhibit where kids weren't... More

We went on Sunday afternoon. Don't do that. There were so many people that we couldn't get close to the windows. Nice exhibits and kid's interactive displays. There's a South America room along with an Antarctica room. Exhibits included sharks, frogs, snakes, penguins, otters, jelly fish, and fish.

My toddler loved this place, and did not want to leave. There is a ton of stuff to see and for kids to do. Your children will leave worn out and sleep well. The animal feedings, the trainers, and the staff were wonderful. The penguin feeding was the best part. Next time we're planning on doing the Penguin Encounter.

We have been going to the Living Planet Aquarium for several years. The new location is beautiful! If you live in the Salt Lake area, the best deal is to buy a yearly pass if you plan to take your family a couple of times a year. We bring our 11 grandchildren here for their birthdays and we have a... More

Our family of 5 went there to check it out - the kids had never been to a place like it. We went on a Thursday morning to try to keep away from the crowds, but it didn't work. We got there right when it opened, but there was already a crowd. The place had no organized flow to it,... More

Overall, the aquarium was very nice. It was clean, and all of the animals were well marked and explained. There was a total of three exhibits, all of which were very interesting and entertaining. This is a great place for a family day, or just a place to go and enjoy or learn. It was easy to find parking, and... More

Easy to drive there, plenty of parking. Very reasonable admission fees. This aquarium is brilliant, especially now it has moved to a new area and is much larger with plenty of exciting exhibits and lots to do. Very child friendly. The otters were my favourites and I spent an hour watching them, they were such fun. Feeding time was exciting... More

They have lots of exhibits, including a great "hands on pool" area where you can touch assorted sea creatures. The shark feedings are extremely popular, so get into that area very early if you want to watch. Once it get crowded, there is no way to see the feeding.

If I were only rating the aquarium with normal admission I would have barely given it a 2. There is nothing really spectacular about it and it really doesn't live up to its potential. The touch pool was disappointing with hardly anything in it and the jelly fish tank was empty with the exception of one dead one floating around.... More

I really enjoyed my first time where I like fish but my teenager wasn't to thrilled until the shark tunnel and the Amazon jungle (it had birds, which she loves). Very wheelchair accessible but only six parking spots. We ended up with a regular spot way out in hopes that we could have room to get her wheelchair in and... More
