The aquarium is a big improvement over the old, small one it replaced. The exhibits are interesting and somewhat educational. The shark tunnel is a must-see and gives a unique perspective of being surrounded by water and sharks. It's great to see an exhibit with local Utah wildlife. The touch tanks were fun but didn't have a lot in them.... More

There were several well made attractions and I thing the price was right for what we got to see and experience. The 3D movie Theatre was fabulous with several selection of entertainment about sealife and interesting documentary. The touch tank I have seen much better in other aquariums. The staff was freindly and helpful. We really liked the jungle room... More

While the aquarium wasn't quite fully complete when we went, it was pretty great. All of the exhibits are well done and we spent about 3.5 hours there. I am looking forward to going back when I visit my mom again.

Perhaps I've been spoiled by the fantastic aquariums in California, like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, but this just seemed a bit overly-hyped for what your rather high admission price buys you. I excited to see what they had done with the place in their new location, but I was expecting so much more. Yes, you can pet the rays, yeah... More

I visited this aquarium with my two children (3.5 and 1.5). The price was high and there was not a lot of offerings to look at. It was insanely busy and the line to get in the door was over 15 minutes long (in the rain). This may be better in the morning when it first opens, but it was... More

This Aquarium offers plenty of up close and hands on exhibits. The otters we a family favorite! After reading several of the comments for this Aquarium I can't imagine that the Naysayers went to the same place. Some people you just can't make happy. We spent $60 for a family of 5 to get in and it was money well... More

I wanted to do something special as a family and was thinking about visiting one of the many botanical gardens in the Salt Lake Valley. My daughter suggested this Aquarium and we were not disappointed. My 7 year old grandson and 20 year old grand daughter accompanied me and my daughter. The building is new and consists of two floors.... More

Extremely noisy--like a big tin building. The Displays not terribly impressive and it is not worth the cost.
