Brighton has 2 longer chairlifts that also offer night skiing. As we were not able to hit the mountain before 12.30 we decide for it. Lots of nice blue runs, some reds and single diamonds that could be skied until about 5 pm when it clearly got darker (16th of December). The two main hills with diamond and double diamonds... More

Nice place to ski or snowboard but check if you're going during holidays, it can get a little crowded. Easy to get there by bus, close to Salt Lake and neighboring suburbs.

By and far my favorite place to go snowboarding. Great terrain parks, great runs, better snow (in my opinion) than Park City Mtn Resort and Canyons, cheaper than the previously mentioned resorts, great staff, less crowded. What's not to like? Oh...something some people may not like is that it's pretty secluded. If you stay up at the resort, don't expect... More

Nice variety of runs. Strong suite is beginning to intermediate runs. However, there are advanced runs. Some fun tree runs at either gentle or moderate grades. Overall vertical about 2k, so not as much as some other resorts in UT or US. At peak times, a few too many teenagers, but they are avoidable as they tend to do the... More

We couldn't find any cons at this place. Ski slopes are offering many choices for all levels of skiers. Its great place for somebody to learn and as well for pro skiers. The hills offer enough places to nicely rest and take breath before next ski dive :)

My family comes to Brighton every Christmas. My kids did the classes in the morning and liked them. The slopes are short though and usually crowded. The indoor areas have way too many stairs!! It is a multi level place which is really hard to walk thru with all your gear and also carrying your kids gear too. My daughter... More

I love Snow boarding at Brighton. It has plenty of black diamond challenging area's yet gentle slopes for the beginners. I took my friends from Australia (never seen snow before) They did great!!!

My hubby at the time had a biz trip, and I had the day free, so I wanted to explore the fun activities the Salt Lake City area has to offer. This was just a hop skip and a jump away, and I was told by the locals that this was the prime real estate they visit when wanting to... More

I've skied at three places in the SLC area, and the only one that I keep coming back to is Brighton. It's a great mountain and seems to be more of a local stop than the other places that I've visited. The drive up the valley prepares you for great views and a solid day (or days) of skiing without... Basically we headed west out of the town and enjoyed the surrounding countryside and hills. Stumbled across a mountain stream, cave (no bear), huge resort areas at the top of the hill. Plenty of outside fun to enjoy on a sunny day.
