I can't say how much I enjoyed this little gem of a ski resort! Just a short drive from affordable hotels in Salt Lake City you'll find this charming ski resort that has every kind of terrain you could want. It's not very big, but you don't need a big mountain unless you have a million people on the slopes.... More

My son's name is Brighton so this was on our hit list. Elevation helped this resort keeping the fresh snow we received good all day. TREES were AWESOME. I'd go back just to play in them again. Everyone in our group loved the trees so much we spent most of the day there. Nice comfortable friendly employees. Not as pretentious... More

Just back from Utah for Spring Break, the first day we skied Brighton. A beautiful "Blue Bird" day, they hadn't had new snow in a couple of days but the runs were groomed very nicely. Brighton doesn't have that much Expert terrain but is a great place to take the family, there's fun, rolling runs that the younger skiers will... More

Brighton was our first stop in Utah for some spring skiing. It was a great place to knock some rust off after not having skied for a handful of years, and many of the runs are perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers. All of the lifts are high speed lifts and bring you from bottom to top quickly. If you... More

We were visiting family over spring break, and decided to ski. We had some fresh snow, no people and beautiful weather. There were such a great variety of runs. I'm a green and easy blue person, but my husband likes the more challenging runs. This was perfect for both of us! He grew up here in Salt Lake, and he... More

There were six of us with varying abilities. We all had a great time even though temperatures were warm. It was 28 in the morning, but hit 50 in the afternoon. The snow started to slush up around 3:00, but we had a good day considering the lateness of the season. When we got tired, we hung out in the... More

Brighton is a good place to start if your family has never skied before. However, we encountered staff that was rude and inconsiderate. We decided to turn in our ski rentals for that reason and head to a different resort.

There were a lot of people, kids. It seems to be more of a locals mountain but really fun terrain and diverse runs. Lots of trees, which I like. Not huge but enough to get a good variety of runs for a day or two. Really enjoyed it.
