I was in SLC for a business trip in mid February, had a flight cancelled and had to stay an extra night. I drove to the REI in Sandy, brought some light ski pants and was on my way! It was in the mid 50s in the valley and rainy but by the time I got to Brighton it was... More

The place is great. Laid back vibe, locals style place. I like how everyone is welcome. Good terrain with something for almost everyone. Easy access to backcountry.

For my first winter living in Utah I made a point of spending time riding at all the resorts in the Big and Little Cottonwood canyons (minus Alta). Brighton is the place I choose to call my home mountain. It offers a good mix of trails to accommodate all skill levels. There's a decent terrain park and new for this... More

Our daughters (9 and 11) were brand new to skiing, and we hadn't been since they were very small, so we were looking for a resort with plenty of green and blue trails and a ski school. Ski school here was reasonably priced, and by the end of the day, the girls were on the lifts and loving the mountain.... More

Me and my friends went up to Brighton to snow board and it was awesome. The food there is good. They have slopes for beginners and pro's. Brighton proves that Utah has the best prowder in the world.

I really enjoyed my visits to Brighton, great slopes and lots of room in the slopes. Definitely worth a visit. Will be back some day.

I like Brighton. I have only ever skied in Utah later in the season (February, March, and April of this year, March of 2012), so the powder wasn't the greatest, but it was still fun. Also, because I am not a great skier, I generally tend to do easier routes that are more run over and will have less of... More

This resort is a little past Solitude and well worth it. The staff are friendly, both the lift operators and the ski school instructors. It doesn't seem to get very crowded either (at least late in the season). The facilities are great, the rental shop has a smooth process, and there is a cafeteria right on the slope to catch... More

Drove up on a Sunday with our grown kids to watch them snowboard. Snowy, extremely windy day( up to 85 mph mountain top, 30-40 at base). We all had a good time. Kids live in SLC so they had season passes.Enjoyed watching the people ski & board. Enjoyed shopping. Got there early because kids wanted first chair & they got... More

We bought a discount ticket at Arcs in SLC and took the bus up to Brighton, it was a heavy snow day. The resort is small but has everything needed for a great day on the mountain for skiers and boarders alike. The tree trails are wide and plentiful. The lifts uncrowned and quick with easy off access. It was... More
